Hotel Mountview

The hotel was rundown with water leaking in bathrooms requiring a room change. Breakfast buffet was basic and mainly vegetarian. The ground staff from housekeeping to security, were friendly and amenable. Would only recommend if a sole traveller passing through Chandigarh.

Convenient location, good service, but the room facilities are just average. If you come with friends or family, it's okay, but if you come with your partner, I think it's not suitable.

Great location and big lawns. Rooms are good and value for money. It gives a Sarkari Property vibe but if you are ok with that ..its worth it

The health faucet in the washroom of the room was not working. They knew about it, but instead of repairing it, they provided a bucket and a mug. That was an unpleasant experience. The washrooms were not made for "bucket and mug" use, and there was no tap to collect the water into the bucket.

Overall property is well maintained however the room that we were allocated had spider webs on the lamp shades, cockroaches in the washroom and chipped off wooden flooring.

Good overall. Lifts need work to be done. Rooms good. Food very good. Reasonable prices. Good space all around. Good location. Will try Executive Rooms, with balcony, next time.
