We have just returned from a week stay at Paris Est, which we booked through eurocamp. We came back early as we couldn't cope with staying there any longer, and we would have left earlier if we didn't have non refundable tickets for different attractions booked before going. Firstly - good points. It is really easy to get into paris, a 10 min bus ride to the station then a short train ride into the city. It was very easy to find our way around, you can pick up tickets and travel info from reception. Also very easy to get to disneyland. Unfortunately that is all the positives we can say. The lodges are tiny, cramped and so unloved. Our Mattresses were stained, bulbs didn't work etc. They lodges are absolutely packed in, there is barely any space between them so no privacy at all and the walls are so thin we could hear our neighbours coughing inside with the doors closed. Also most of the lodges are filled with tradespeople/workers and every night there were different groups of men smoking and drinking on the balconies making a lot of noise through the night. My son didn't want to play with his football outside because he was too intimidated. Not what we expected from a Eurocamp park, we expected basic facilities as this was meant to be a base to explore - but basic doesn't mean it has to be horrible! We would not come back even for the proximity to Paris as it was such an unpleasant experience, we thought we were just unlucky but reading some of the other reviews it seems this is not unusual. Also a heads up that they need a 150 euro deposit before they will give the key which we weren't told about before arriving - their machine didn't work to put a hold on our credit card and after a stressful half an hour calling the bank who told us the problem was with their machine, we then had to pay the 150 up front. Surprisingly our card worked fine to take the payment... and we now have to wait 15-20 days to hope we will get this money transferred back!

we had a nice stay. for us it was close enough to the centre of Paris and far away enough to be comfortable in a quiet place. We were there for just a few days, I think it would be to small for a longer stay.

We were staying here with a camper. Camp location is great, bus stop to take you to center of Paris is right there. Public transport tickets can be bought at the reception. Camping spots are neat and big enough. Toilets are really weird, as there is no sink in the same room as the toilets. You have to go outside after using the toilet and into another room around the corner to wash your hands, using two different door handles in the process (with dirty hands), which is not very hygienic to me. There is also no soap in the washing up room, so you have to bring your own to wash the hands or be satisfied with only water. When pushing the button for water, it is not nearly enough to wash the hands, so you have to push multiple times. No dryer or paper towels to dry hands either. Some of the showers were closed, while half of the open ones only had cold water and the ones that had warm water were dirty, small and full of hair. All in all, it’s an ok place to stay for a few days to visit Paris (we were only there in late afternoons and evenings), but I would not stay longer.

Marilla Parks now own Domine de Massereau . I've been going there for years and like hundreds of long term customers took an option on a pitch for the next year. When marilla took over they appear to have failed to realise that hundreds if not thousands of customers expected an email in November to facilitate paying a deposit and confirming the booking . On the 15th November I emailed the site and was told I'd hear by the 1st December. Nothing ....... I emailed to chase .......nothing . I emailed 17 further times and .......nothing . Today I called the customer service and at a cost of 30 euros as I was not picked up immediately or infact within 12 minutes I got through to an advisor who kept repeating pitches are not open yet . I explained 3 times the process followed for the last 10 years and that when they'd bought the business they bought the liabilities and commitments as well . Sadly no . My booking is to be it seems ignored. I have no idea if going forward they will improve but certainly marilla parks do not appear to be aware they are worrying hundreds of customers who may have booked ferries and overnights but who now have to hope and wait for marilla to wake up and honour the commitments made to long term and regular customers . What a nightmare . Come on marilla wake up !!!!

We went here for Psg against ac milan, the bus stops literally 15 meters before the campsite which is great. Check in was quick, really nice, helpful and welcoming staff. Stay overall was great, everything was clean, small but cozy. We definitely will come back here if we decide to go to Paris again

A very clean and quiet campsite with well-equipped cabins located in a well-chosen area with many green spaces with playgrounds for children and places to relax for adults to which I will return with pleasure.

We visited for a few days for the RWC2023. The campsite is I die ally located on the outskirts of Paris in the beautiful town of Nogent Sur Marne, a short Metro ride into central Paris. The campsite is very well equipped, quiet and well kept. We’d certainly return if we ever came back.

Pros and cons to this site. Pros were the location and staff that were multi lingual speaking fluent English. We also used the on-site cafe and although basic the pizzas were good value and tasty. Cons were the wash room facilities. Despite two sets of showers and toilet blocks they were both mixed and this felt uncomfortable especially when showering my young daughter with teenage boys walking in and out. Showers were cold and not very clean. When we were there a large group of teenagers were also camping on-site and were hanging around the washrooms and toilets making it very uncomfortable. As others have said not great but ok for a short stay to go explore the capital.
