L'Aiguille du Midi

Hotel Aiguille du Midi is located below the Bossons glacier to the right of the Aiguille du Midi and the left of Mont Blanc and offers a stunning view of both. The hotel has been in the same family for five generations and continues to be run by family members, and has been continuously expanded and modernized over the past 120 years. My room was a superior room for a single or a couple with Mountain Views and although small was comfortable and included a small en-suite shower bathroom. The hotel has a small spa area with a jacuzzi and sauna available at no extra charge with pre booking. Two game rooms are available as well as a ski storage room and boot dryers. Half board is well worth taking as the breakfast buffet is extensive and the excellent dinner includes an appetizer (generally a soup or some traditional item) and a single main course (I enjoyed roast lamb, fish, veal escalope) followed by a cheese course, and then a large assortment of desserts. Dinner can be preceded or followed by cocktails etc in the bar room. Although the hotel is outside of Chamonix the town can be readily accessed by the #1 bus every 30 minutes and it also takes you to the Flagere ski area. Alternatively the train from Chamonix stops at Bosson station providing a useful option for transportation every hour. If you are planning to ski the Valle Blanche you would take the bus in to Chamonix Aiguille du Midi, have a great ski day and then take the train back to Bosson as the Montenvers train station is next to the Chamonix station. So if you want a quiet location outside of Chamonix center with high quality service and comfort, do give Hotel Aiguille du Midi consideration.

Very calm, very warm welcome, very friendly staff, very clean, great food, perfect location, close to bus stop, only 10 min with the bus to city center , amazing view at the Aiguille du Midi and Glacier des Bossons from my room, I really recommend this hotel

Had a very pleasant stay here and cannot fault anything. The staff are lovely and helpful, the view from the room is stunning , the room that we had was nice and spacious. The hotel was very well accessible to the Chamonix center with a bus stop and a train stop right outside.

Lovely family owned place with good restaurant, excellent service and just out of hustle and bustle of chamonix Right beside Les Bossons train and bus stop so easy access to town but without noise Will definitely return on next visit to chamonix valley

The Aiguille Du Midi is excellent located for experiencing the Chamonix area Go there - you will not be disappointed. Staff is very friendly and helpful in organising your trips around the area - and the view from the restaurant -either it is breakfast or dinner - is breathtaking !

Great family-run hotel ! All food prepared onsite and the desserts and pastries are amazing and plentiful. No chance of returning home slimmer despite major mountain treks. The family/staff genuinely enjoy chatting with people and it shows. Nothing too much trouble and standards are high without being formal or fussy. Enjoyed the pool and table tennis when not eating...

I think the pictures are a little misleading. The room we were given was very small and the overall hotel was quite dated. The breakfast was EUR14 per person.

We absolutely loved our stay. The bedroom was impeccably clean, warm abd very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the team were just so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and dinner were superb. We can't praise the owners and their dedicated team enough. We will always return when we come to Chamonix.

This hotel was amazing! From the moment we got there, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The owner was very kind and lent us a backpack to bring to the mountain. The breakfast was delicious, and we ate dinner at the restaurant one night too. Also fantastic. There is a jacuzzi, sauna, game room, and other nice amenities. The rooms were nice, and the bus stop is 1 minute away that will take you into town. Overall, such an amazing experience, the staff was the best!
