Having left Paris to drive to Savoie, we decided to stop over for the night at this place. Great and helpful staff who even moved their car to let ma park for the stay.. Small cute room with air con and heater ( the latter needed considering the weather end of June. Some supermarkets around, Pizza warmed on site was great. Too short a stay to say more but great a night rest

Fifth visit to this hotel and for the first time when booking I saw different prices for different room sizes, and chose the only 1 that had any availability when I came to book, so I knew I would not be getting a big room with balcony as I've had twice before. The air considering now seems to be in all rooms (it was only in some last time I stayed in 2019), but I do wish they would give the option of being able to use it all year round (a notice states that when the mode has been switched, I guess centrally, it is not possible to switch it back, and last time I stayed it was a warm October and the air conditioning didn't work). In steamy June it was great to have very efficient and controllable air con and the room was very comfortable for sleeping. Every room has a kitchenette which we find very useful for chilling drinks etc. We did miss the balcony for having a drink, but knew we wouldn't get this so weren't disappointed. The young chap who checked us in was very pleasant but spoke very fast French to me at check in and didn't revert to English despite my not great French, I think I should be flattered! We had some issues with our door lock which worked only intermittently. We reported it twice and the problem seems to be diagnosed by what colour light shows when the card is inserted, the problem was there was no light at all! The second time, after being totally locked out and even a very friendly housekeeper couldn't make it work, the lady from reception changed the batteries but it still didn't work reliably so she said she'd get maintenence to have a look the next day. We don't think this happened, but we did find that if we pulled the door forward before putting the key in we could get it to open. The piece of wood at the bottom of the door was loose and was a bit of a trip hazard. Housekeeping is only done every other day which was perfectly fine and when it was done it was to an amazing standard (eg sheets changed) but the coffee supplies seemed inadequate for 2 people (only 1 coffee capsule, creamer etc) , not that it was a problem for us as the machine was a bit too complicated! All in all, this was another very pleasant stay in a hotel that feels like home from home for us now!

The hotel is clean and clean, and it is clean and clean. The room is spacious with 2 single beds and a double bed, comfortable bed. No savon au lavabo, bac à douche mal nettoyé (présence de cheveux du précédent occupant), présence de mousi et surtout, toilette mal nettoyé avec une odeur d'urine. Des chambres face à l'autoroute mais bonne isolation des fenêtres. It is indicated in the description that it is close to the centre.

Disappointed disappointed disappointed. Absolutely the opposite of the photos. The rooms, the reception does not look like the photos. The shower head in our room 12 and 14 was leaking. In room 14, the light switches are broken. The tv in 12 turns on by itself at night. The tv of the 14 had only 3 channels. Not enough toilet paper in room 12, or soap for 2 people at reception. There is not one of the 2 people who replenishes the breakfast buffet. The dining tables remain dirty. It was up to us to clean them. Obliged to claim cutlery, glass etc. The 2 people stay on the computer. On the other hand, the reception the day before (Saturday, March 5) was correct.

Well what do you expect for €75 a night? Internet not working, room small and decorated like prison cells. Walls are paper thin and you hear noise from everywhere. Wasn’t bothered by train noise, location good and staff very pleasant. Would always go for the Mercure across the road

En route to the Alps we just needed a basic room to stop over & got exactly what we needed. We had the double room with a shower room which is compact but just as needed. It was very clean and in a good state of repair. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. I had a good nights sleep as needed. The shower was hot and powerful enough. The manager was helpful finding us a local takeaway and making sure we had all we needed. We had ordered breakfast which was plentiful and filling. Just what we needed before setting off. The hotel was easy to find on the outskirts of Chambéry, near the main road and supermarkets etc. Definitely recommend and we will return.

Clean and comfortable hotel, centrally placed and close to all amenities. A short distance from the railway station, either on foot or an inexpensive taxi ride. All staff were pleasant, polite and welcoming. Due to a booking mix-up at my end, our booked room was not available but they quickly found another. Staff were also helpful with things like suggesting places to eat and booking a morning taxi for us. Easy to find - look for the elephants!

We stayed here for one night on 18/6. We were with a Rail Discoveries Group travelling from Paris to Milan and broke our journey in Chambery. Ideal location if using the station as the hotel is directly opposite. Easy check in and good size room and bathroom. Very pleasant bar and restaurant staff. Good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. Very short walk into the town centre if you wish to explore. Perfect for an overnight stop.

Very recommended to stay, cost-effective, the environment is very good. Beautiful environment, good geographical location, convenient transportation, comfortable and sanitary rooms, service staff are very enthusiastic, facilities are very humane, high-speed network signal is good, the view outside the window is good. The design of the room's small pendulum is also very distinctive. Next time, check in.

Even though we Absolutely Could Not go to our room before check in (but we could leave our bags)(the French & their rules!) this hotel was fabulous. Great location, efficient welcome, lovely bar, a swim or sauna if we’d fancied, a huge room with a comfortable huge bed, decent sized bathroom-oh yes it was all there-& the best bit-a massive window the whole width of the room, which you could completely open & if you’re on the 7th floor, superb views of Chambery & surrounding mountains. Magic.
