Ko Ka Tsara Bush Camp

We loved staying at Ko-Ka Tsara Bushcamp. It is a very special place and a true gem. We stayed in a Standard Chalet, which was perfectly equipped with everything you need—fridge, gas stove, microwave, aircon, and cozy electric blankets. Having DSTV and WiFi in the room made it even more comfortable. The communal areas are just as lovely. The Boma and bar are perfect for relaxing, and the pool area is great. We also enjoyed a very tasty breakfast in the dining room. The grounds are beautiful with lush lawns and big trees, and the highlight was being surprised by a big giraffe grazing right outside our chalet. It was so convenient to be able to arrange braai wood and food through the camp. Since it was raining, we ordered from their winter menu, which was delicious and easy to heat up. To top it off, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend checking them out!

We had a wonderful stay at Ko Ka Tsara Accommodation! The team was incredibly accommodating with our time changes, and everyone was so friendly and caring — a special thank you to Miemie for truly going the extra mile. The setting is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, with wildlife right on your doorstep, which made the experience even more special. The chalet was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and our kids absolutely loved the loft beds. We enjoyed the great pool, the lovely communal braai area, and the private braais at each chalet, with fire pit options that made for cozy evenings. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely be back again — next time for a longer visit. Highly recommended!

Lovely place, nice cabins and plenty of wildlife. Warthogs, giraffe and impala all regular visitors to the grass area immediately outside the cabins.

Neat and clean hidden away from civilization. Welcoming reception and excellent service. Chalets are spacious and has all amenities. Peace and tranquility with Impala and Giraffes roaming in the lawn. Cant wait to go back

We stayed over on our way from Secunda to Glentana, what a pleasant experience. Charlet was great, braai area, great, they even have an "honesty bar", where will you find something like this in SA. We will definately stay for at least 2-3 nights next time. Amaizing place.

The bush camp is located in a small reserve with several hiking opportunities. The charming chalets are set along a well maintained garden. It is self-catering, but they offer ‘braai’ packs for the BBQ, which are of high quality. Overall a very nice experience.

Absolutely fabulous! Beautiful location, well keep, clean, fully kitted cottages and a very accommodating host (Thank you, Irene). If we could, we would have spent more time there. Next time we are near the Karoo National Park, this will be our port of call.
