Grand Hyatt Jakarta

The hotel was great, with nice, well-maintained rooms. Staff were all helpful too. However, I visited during a period when other events were taking place. It seemed that certain stakeholders were given priority access to the lifts, which resulted in guests being asked to wait for other elevators instead. This could be better managed with more manpower, something I realized where there was only 1 staff working at night at the lobby and unable to get help as quick as other comparable hotels.

Location is awesome - being "sandwiched" between two malls - a girl couldn't ask for more 😊 & breakfast is just "WOW"!!! I'm not one that's easily impressed but trust me - everything was just PERFECT 👍

Service was excellent but hotel is rather dated and has a terrible musky smell. I could barely sleep and my throat hurts after a night’s stay. The entire floor had the same smell. Feedback was given and air purifier was placed outside - and it really helped. Unfortunately, none in the room and that made the stay almost unbearable. They also clean the rest of the hotel with bleach. It is rather odd to be entering a 5-Star hotel and be greeted with the smell of bleach. That being said the location is excellent. Service was great but I paid good money and felt the stay wasn’t all that great!

It was a lovely stay for my trip in January.. perfect location. Love the breakfast spread every morning throughout my stay. The room was so spacious and the staff is so friendly.. im so gonna stay at Grand Hyatt again when i visit Jakart

Amazing service. Was greeted at the door like I was already known. Check in was 3pm and I arrived at 11am, asking if a room was available. I was told a room was indeed available, but if I wanted to wait an hour at the Grand Club (which I had access to with my booking) I could get a higher floor. I chose to wait. Grand Club access was well worth it. Amazing selection of breakfast and dinner choices as well as cocktails. Clean, quiet with beautiful views of the city - perfect space to work during non meal times. Room was spacious and clean. Room kept clean while I was away. Amazing facilities - spa and gym. Friendly staff and always greeted whether it be concierge, cleaners, waiters, door staff, security. Central location. Beautiful views of city. Very affordable for the service received. 10/10 will return.

The best hotel in JKT! Spacious and well maintained room and utilities, friendly and welcoming staff, and strategic location- basement access to plaza indonesia, walking distance to grand indo, thamrin city mall, towards Sarinah mall, next to train station. We upgraded room for a perfect bundaran view!

Good location above the plaza Indonesia shopping mall. Check in service was abit slow, but friendly.

The best service and ambience

This is the perfect hotel for luxury and convenience in Jakarta. Location was perfect being connected to the Plaza Indonesia Mall and a short walk to Grand Indonesia. The MRT station is just outside the hotel. Service levels from all staff was excellent. Amenities were also great. A true 5 star experience.
