Mercure Properties in Central Jakarta

This is a standard business hotel. I always stay here because my office is right across the street. Everything is pretty much as expected. The service is acceptable, but the breakfast quality has declined, and the room ventilation isn't great.

The first room they gave us was visibly dirty with hair on the floor and bits and pieces of trash on the carpet. The sheets were also stained and the bathroom was really dark. They only provided 1 set of toothbrush when there were 2 of us. Clearly this room was not made up thoroughly and was given to us. Went to the front desk to share about this and they were immediately apologetic and offered to change our room. The second room was cleaner but I wouldn’t say it’s the cleanest. There was grout and mildew in the shower area and shower head. Had to close my eyes to not think about it. Bathroom also had this odor coming from either the drainage or sink. It’s an okay hotel— value for money but would reconsider coming back here
