Facilities: Full of old money vibes, perfectly hitting all my aesthetic sweet spots. Cleanliness: Very clean. Linens were changed and cleaning was done promptly. Environment: Excellent. A true paradise for vacationers. You can eat, drink, and have fun all within the hotel. Service: Fantastic! Everyone was enthusiastic and proactive. I highly recommend the spa; for the same price, you wouldn't find an authentic coconut oil massage like this back home.

We love our stay in Shangrila, comfortable in every way, only there is no coffee machine in the rooms, and only provide standard nescafe instead of gold nescafe. Other than that we are satisfied for your service, and happy to be back another time.

One of the best services I've ever experienced. For example, at breakfast, despite the incredibly extensive buffet, someone always comes by to offer and bring special items :)

This hotel despite being a old hotel is still very well maintained. Staffs are well trained, speaks excellent English. Service was impeccable at breakfast. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, but the bathtub looked a bit old, so we didn't dare use it. Breakfast was extensive, but it got very crowded, and we had to queue to be seated. I recommend going early to avoid peak hours. The spa was closed during our stay. We arrived quite late and asked the hotel staff how to get to the hotel bar for dinner. When we got to the bar's entrance, we found out that shorts were not allowed. The hotel staff should have informed us earlier. Was it amusing for them to watch us make a wasted trip? We walked around outside the hotel, but there weren't many restaurants, so we ended up ordering takeout. We had to go down to the lobby ourselves to pick it up, as the hotel staff wouldn't deliver it to the room.
