There were some issues, one partially, but reasonably resolved, the 2nd was not. I decided it was best to leave one day early. I contacted the Manager and he told me that his head office had agreed to refund my unused day. I have 2 emails where he stated clearly that his would happen. He was dishonest and this did not happen. If there are no issues, you will probably find the facility reasonably comfortable, but if there is issues my experience is that the Manager will flat out lie to you.
One other issue is that when you contact a property through Expedia, they typically will not respond. If that had happened, I could have cancelled the booking for something that met my needs and avoided writing a poor review.

I’ve stayed at this hotel years ago, and since then it has gone through a renovation. Stayed here for three nights while visiting family in Maribor. The front desk staff are great - the night of my arrival, the receptionist was waiting for me! Rooms are basic but have everything that you need. Note, the shower pressure which is usually something I complain about in hotels was fantastic! Lots of power ports, etc, but the room did not have a desk if you would like to work from the room. Breakfast was awesome and had more than enough variety for most. I’m an extremely light sleeper so I found some noise did carry through the hotel, but I find that in most places. The only complaint I would have is that the cost of parking was slightly high for Maribor.

Hotel is near the city center. This is a large building badly organized; from the reception, we go down the stairs to take the elevator up to the room. Breakfast hidden on the fifth floor, no information where to go. Breakfast tasty. Ugly room with a dark window that cannot be opened. Bathroom clean. We were only one night but in such a room I would not like to stay longer.

Excellent location, all clean, friendly, economic and modern staff. Small sin there is no power take near the bed and being a hostel would be useful. Possibility to ski the luggage in the structure even after check out.
