Atik Rooms

Atik rooms is an affordable option to stay in Ljubljana while making sure the most essentials are covered - the location in the city center (right next to the dragon bridge) was perfect. Also - the rooms are extremely clean (something that I had read in other reviews and was super important) They have a small kitchen where you can prepare your breakfast. And the lady was kind to keep our luggage for the last few hours in the city. All in all, the rooms are small but you really don't need more when the most important things are covered!! Would come back again.

Affordable, clean, stylish, quiet in the perfect location. I was very impressed with how clean, quiet and cozy this place was. The staff was very helpful and welcoming and organized a shuttle for me to the airport. Great aesthetics in the entire place, skylights in my room were modern and opened so I could see the lovely tile roof and get fresh air the entire night. It was even in a quiet location though extremely close to everything. The perfect stay.

The stuff is super nice and friendly. Facilities are good. I like the small kitchen area, where you can have a cup of tea or make yourself a breakfast; you can also leave stuff in the fridge. Location is also great; near the city center, the castle and about 15min walk from the main train and bus stations.

Absolutely ok for two nights. It was very clean and well located at the bottom of the funicular close to central market and dragon bridge. I missed blackout curtains and it was quite sensitive so don’t forget eye mask and oropax, than it’s alright. Room cleaning is on demand. Check inn was straightforward during check in time (3pm-7pm).

This was an excellent location. There is nothing better than opening the double windows to look into the square below and hear the church bells. Location is perfect in old town. A bit away from the noisy area but a very short stroll to the action. Check in was easy and the room is really well done. I would highly recommend.

The rooms are independent and the "hostel" gives a level of security. You can use the common kitchen (small fridge on each floor) which looked ok. The room was clean. The beams were beautiful but the room was tiny, there was very little space to stand in (I am 1.77). The quality of the mattress (of the single bed - which I tried) pillows and bedding was poor. For the entire time I spend there (Tue - Wed) the common toilet smelled horribly and the floor was sticky - not properly cleaned- to the point I avoided using it as much as possible. I stayed there at the end of September, I do not know how they handle it in peak season. I booked the accommodation directly from their website for 55 EUR for a night, but as I have seen the same rooms in platforms selling for 70-90 EUR per night, I had higher expectations. Due to its proximity to the center and the comparison of the cost for other accommodation, for one or max two nights its OK, but definitely not more.

Book parking spot in advance.. free parking spots around street but only free between 7 pm to 7 am..!

We enjoyed our night at Atik Rooms! Close to the city center in a calm street, it was a very good value for money. The independent rooms are pleasant, with visible beams, and functional. The common areas are clean. Just a bit of shame not to have secure luggage storage.
