Location: Great, just cross one street and you enter the really nice old town of Celle. You are on the eastern end so some walk to the other side but very close by. Parking facilities (in case of the hotel ones being filled) just across the courtyard. Rooms: Small, dark and if you have the bad luck to have on to the Main Street it is either loud or it gets really hot. No much fun at all in staying in one, just be good for sleeping and showering (small as well) and that's it. But sleeping is not only marred by the hot or loud dichotomy but also by the fact that this was the second most worn out mattress I have ever slept in. Terrible. Food. Did not have any but the breakfast buffet looked nice. Staff:Friendly and most efficient Communal areas: Nice and clean but nothing to write home about. Sorry guys being cheap on the beds - which is the most important item in an hotel -does not pay out.

On our interim stop in the south, we were at the Hotel Heidekön for a night. The rooms were clean and ordened. Also breakfast was good accordingly and nothing missed. For the hotel category, this is absolutely okay and we're coming back. Only the setting of the rooms is already tasteful. But taste we don't want to assess here. Also dinner was price accordingly very good. We'll be back

The hotel is located near the pedestrian zone in a quiet residential area. It consists of two houses connected by a covered walk outside. This is not shown from the description on the Internet. There are enough parking spaces around both houses. The staff at the reception was fast and only moderately friendly. To get from the reception to the rooms, you have to get his baggage either a few steps up, with the lift a floor up and then a few steps down or out around the house. At first sight, the room is not bad at entry. It has the promised arrangement and is clean. The furniture in 70er-Jahre-schellackweiß is however rather cool than attractive. The mattresses are a little too hard for me. At the second eye it will be unpleasant. The bathroom is very small. The shower is a joke. If you close the shower door you can no longer turn around without starting anywhere, even if you are not very overweight. I put a chair in the shower once (see photo) to make a picture of the ”size”. The shot edge tile is so attached to the entrance of the shower that you can hurt your foot when you enter/leave the shower can. The door frame of the connection door between bathroom and rooms are shaped. The room window is so skillfully fitted that you can only open it half because the window then hits the garden bar. In the coffee machine, there was a distance of water (the water stripes on the edge suggest that it was not only one day) and the inner floor of the water tank was brown smells. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and attentive.

The hotel was open at our night arrival, no one was present despite the stated 24-hour reception.. Room cards according to telephone instructions in a shuttle, the entire lobby area including bar would have been freely accessible to everyone from outside! The rooms were prepared, but apparently long ago, when there was a clear dust layer on all edges and furniture. The only! The next morning, the staff member confirmed that these rooms should not be inspected, so we had wrong room cards. As compensation, we received breakfast free of charge. The check-in was very friendly and there were apples and refreshments in the lobby. Also there are only positive reports on the shuttle service to the airport, timely and helpful. I would have expected more from the room. It is tasteful and practically furnished and very spacious and absolutely clean. However, I wonder why there is no ”light” light. The lamps in the room only throw dark indirect light. It was not possible to light the room. That was very well hit the mind. The switch between night-lamp and reading lamp was defect, so not at all, only the inner life was visible, which I think is dangerous. Although Leonardo casts with sound-isolated windows. I could not see any difference to normal glass windows and it was incredibly noisy in the night. Furthermore, the brightness came so that we can hear the TV, toilet noise etc. of the neighbouring rooms well. A water cooker as shown in the room description did not exist with us. Only a capsule machine was available. This was why we had to prepare the water for our tea and thus tasted the tea for coffee. Also very bad that no sustainability is being considered and actually coffee capsules are still offered. For one night to get to the airport, it's OK. I can't recommend a longer stay.
