Me and my friend stayed at mad monkey for 5 days which was far too long but we didn’t know when we booked that there wasn’t much to do. When we arrived we didn’t get the most friendly welcome from reception we didn’t get told about any events going on in the hostel or any trips that the hostel were offering We found the room was quite dirty and very loud on the road side. The air con made the loudest noises and half the time it was hot. The room smelt very mouldy and damp. The floors looked like they haven’t been cleaned for months especially looking under the beds. The walls were cracked and the paints hanging of the walls. No one cleaned the room in 5 days but we did get toilet roll delivery’s. We found it quite hard to chill near the pool as there wasn’t any comfy chairs and it was a greenhouse in there and soo hot we couldn’t sit there for long. It’s all enclosed and we was told on a very occasions that they couldn’t turn on the aircon. We was pretty disappointed with the food prices(the food was nice) although the pizza doughs were a bit undercooked they were so expensive to say it’s a hostel with backpackers on a budget staying there. For 2 meals it cost us £15. And we spent £3 getting a can of red bull which would cost less in England. We wanted to join in on the beer pong one night and we was told we wasn’t aloud to play if we didn’t buy a bucket of beer which was a big of a money making scheme really so we didn’t end up playing and we didn’t want to drink that night to save on money. Everyone should be able to play as some people don’t drink alcohol. We enjoyed to music quiz we found that was a good laugh. The music was very good in the bar and the dj was great. We also found out you couldn’t buy bottled water which was disappointing so we went to the shop to get bottles. They only have one water dispenser in the full building which is very inconvenient and should have one on every floor. we thought the monkey punch was great and did get you drunk with the free shots. Our only recommendation is that you do this promotion later as 7-8 is still quite early if you don’t go out till 12. Overall wasn’t the best and wouldn’t recommend for backpackers on a budget.

Fantastically clean. Soft towels. Great shower. There is paid laundry, coffeeshops, places to eat all nearby. The room gets very bright in the morning and it was noisy due to being so close to other rooms. But an eye mask and earplugs and you'll be fine. The AC unit is quite loud but very effective.

As someone who wants to travel on a budget, dislikes noises, and likes clean amenities, I consider myself lucky to find such deal in shejoje. Their capsules are enough to have a comfortable sleep as for me who's 5'2. But it might be challenging for someone who's tall. Their bathroom and shower are in the same place. I'm amazed that they always maintain the cleanliness of them. Their staff are nice and approachable, too. It was indeed a great stay. Will definitely book again once I return to Cebu.

We stayed here for 2 nights and everything was good, aside from the 4 flight of stairs that we have to take. Considering that I stayed there with a kid and I think it wasn't the safest floor. Apart from that, I like our stay...the bed was too comfortable that I thought I'd stay in the room the whole day instead of doing anything.

I go to Cebu every few months for work and I’ve stayed in a lot of different accomodations but I believe I’ve found place that I will keep going back to. I had my second stay there just a few weeks ago in the beginning of October. The place is still under minor construction, but that being said I was never inconvenienced in any way by the work. What makes this place great for me is the staff and management. The staff in my two stays has always been on top of their game with everything. When I walked in to check in on my second stay, that was 3 months after my first stay, the front desk clerk saw me walk in and welcomed me back and had remembered my name. Either he remembered or he was briefed by management that they had a returning guest. Either way it happened they made me feel like a valued customer. The conversations I’ve had with the manager and owner there have been nothing but enjoyable and they are always willing to help with anything I need. I have 5 years experience of working in top end hotels in the US and the guest services & attentiveness they have towards their guests at Flying Fish are on par with the hotels I worked in. They have surpassed my expectations with how they have gone above and beyond their normal duties as hotel staff. Besides the staff, the structure itself is an inviting space that I feel cozy in. The bar has draft beer which gets extra points in my book and the recently finished pool looks to be well done and a nice place to cool off. The only improvement on the rooms I’d like to see are cleaner floors. But I really can’t complain. I’ve stayed in much more expensive places with dirty floors. If you want clean feet just wear your slippers/shoes in your room. Besides that, everything else is 5 stars for me. Best value I’ve found in Cebu for price, location and staff. Highly recommended!

The third hostel in Cebu, the bed was hidden by a curtain and the privacy was good. The hostel's users are mainly people from other islands who came to work on a business trip, and domestic travelers from the same Philippines. was broken. After that, the shower had good water pressure, but it was not hot, so it was good because it was close to Fort San Petro, the market, the church, and even a convenience store nearby. If you pay another 150 pesos, they will do your laundry for you.

The nearest one to Fuzhou Airport, the transfer is very timely, the boss sent the machine within 24 hours, we are more than 5 o'clock in the morning. Thank you, the boss, and the road is hard. There is a restaurant on the street. The hotel is clean and sanitary. The 11-year-old child lives with us.

Very big but I stayed a few days. I like this hostel it's right by the mall. So it's easy to find places to shop. But it's hard to stay longer than a few days. The bathroom is workable but maybe they can make it cleaner. Shower just sprays water in every direction. But not a bad place. You can be satisfied.

The hotel is located on a slow hillside just four or five kilometers from the city centre, but the bus (Jeepney) is very cheap (about RMB). No single room is a multi-person bunk. The hotel has restaurants and shops. There is a parking lot.

I stayed at BB in July and I fell sick during my stay ,Rinse and her husband were very careful of me , they even brought me to the hospital because I couldn't get alone I strongly recommend and I hope Rinse can Winning many other competitions
