Evolution Dive and Beach Resort

Evolution was by far one of the best dive resorts we have ever been and we have done many before. If you are looking for the most professional and best instructors for doing courses or even Tech Diving, this is your place. We did the rescue course and our instructor Bran and his assistant Leif were amazing... they really thought about how we could have the best experience, and we did!!! Best course I have ever done with Padi. The rooms were also ok, only the restaurant was a bit basic but it didn't matter, next door was one of the best restaurants on the island.

The location is very good, come from Ma Island, directly to the hotel entrance, chartered boat is about 2000-2500p, sometimes ferry boat is needed, I booked the largest room in the hotel, comfortable, looking at the sea, pool view room is small A little bit, the standard room is smaller, except that the water for bathing is a bit small, others are okay. The fish brothers are downstairs. Our diving class is practiced in the hotel pool, which is very convenient. After staying for four days in a row, early morning meals are sometimes self-help, sometimes by portion, okay, average, but on Ma Island, this home should be relatively large. For snorkeling in the sea, you can have a round island, and go to that man's island, you can find a local person to book, the price is very cheap!

We arrived at the hotel with two bikes and baggage driven by rooms. No reception, delivery of keys in the hand and driven to our room. It was good that the room was comfortable, clean and very spacious, and in the bathroom c was the shower heating, which was not recently. It was also a diving center but no one was uncomfortable to offer something to us, my husband and I went to dive, and we asked for a boat to rent, but we waited for nothing for someone to get us. The restaurant is so, but no one wants to take a scooter to cross the streets in the middle of the bars. The positive note was the unique beach in all that landfill to be called beach, but the coral barrier destroyed by the boats, and the fruit cocktails and smoothies to enjoy on the beach. This island was a great disappointment, given the distance and time to reach us, you could have gone to some other island to end in beauty with nature and dives. It takes a lot more than 3 hours to get out of Cebu with a private taxi driver, risking life every meter. To get to the island you are forced to go on boat that if you get that on the way as our life risks (I have two nautical cards I know what I say) my husband's little nn you're gonna ruin a leg by going on boat because after you put us on foot you're gonna be And it was thrown down and thrown down to the knee, and all this we paid for; and in three nights we made only two, and less bad, because the boat, if it is in few, decided not to take you from the other side. I'm sorry, but my impression was negative. I repeat the location of the north is fine but I have to put more effort on it. Sorry for the shark will be for another time elsewhere

I booked a Superior room for 3 nights. Check in was simple. My room was a decent size and the bed comfortable enough. The shower and toilet were two separate rooms. The cable TV worked well. It required using two remotes but I had to turn on from the TV as the remote probably needed new batteries. The aircon worked well albeit a little noisy. I turned it off to sleep. The hot water shower was only enough to take the edge off cold even after being advised to let it run for 3 minutes but the following days it was warm. The shower rose was old and could certainly do with being replaced. After checking I noticed there was no soap provided. A trip to reception and soap was provided. Also, the shower light was not working, another trip to reception and the globe was replaced immediately. Bedside lamp did not work (globe replacement?). Only toilet paper is provided as there is no bum gun or pail/bucket. The overall lighting was good for island standards. Private patio area with table and seating. Bin on balcony not emptied unless requested. Room clean also upon request. Booking.com states Fan (I had none), Minibar (I had none) and Key Access should read key in door lock. One night I had a cockroach in my bed which freaked me out. I hate cockroaches. I couldn't go to sleep after that ending up staying up all night watching TV. Maybe if they used some insect surface spray it might help. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Bounty beach area. Given my senior years beachfront accommodation would probably have suited me better. In summary, the staff are friendly and try to do their best. Small irritations are part and parcel of island life except for that cockroach getting too friendly.
Tepanee Beach Resort

It's a bit far to walk to Main Beach. The hostel itself is located in a high location, so you have to walk a lot of stairs to get in once ㅠ Instead, the sea view is good :) The room condition is like a modern traditional house. It was good. However, ants are abundant in each room ㅠㅠ No food in the room, walls. Beds. Tables. Toilet. Balcony...It was an ant heaven
Blanco Beach Resort Malapascua

Hotel Blanca is one of the NICEST places to stay on the island. The room is clean, I loved how it was decorated, it includes a stunning balcony view and we loved spending time looking at the sea and island life from our balcony. The beach area behind the hotel is fabulous with a beach bar and all kinds of loungers, flowers everywhere! It’s the best place to watch the sunset. It has one of the only working ATM machines on the island. The breakfast is excellent with fruit and fresh breads and everything you could want. I highly recommend one have dinner at the restaurant, but select one of the tables that are beachside for a very private and romantic and memorable dining experiences! The staff was very considerate and helpful. Malapascua is an island with only 6000 residents. It’s remote and rustic, one should not have insanely high expectations about this backpackers destination, its island vibes, things are simple here. That is a part of what makes it so very special. If you have time, a visit to Malapascua Island is a MUST for your Philippine adventure. Diving with the Thresher Sharks is a once in a lifetime experience. The island is something special. If you have a little extra to spend, staying at this hotel will take your adventure up a notch. It’s beautiful, the staff are great and the restaurant and beach area are top notch.
