I had an excellent stay at the SB Hotel in Castelldefels, near Barcelona. The welcome was warm and professional from the moment we arrived. The staff were always available, friendly, and attentive to guests’ needs. The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel is well located, close to the beach and only a short distance from Barcelona, which is very convenient. The breakfast was varied and of very good quality, with a wide selection of fresh products. The common areas, especially the pool and lounge, were very pleasant and well maintained. Overall, a truly successful experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and convenient stay near Barcelona.

Near the airport but the environment is what you will expect from a motel

First arrived and the room we were given had broken floors that would slide, the toilet was broken, and the window was broken and would not open. When we contacted the front desk they sent maintenance who removed the window handle and left our door to the room open and the window open with no latch. We then requested a different room, we were shown three rooms all of them that their own issues moving floors, broken toilets, and the smell of sewage. The front desk ladies Rosa and Ariadna were wonderful they upgraded our room to a family apartment suite. This room was nice but the bathroom still smelt like sewage, and the floor panels moved. To the hotels case they did provide us with a new upgraded room, free drinks, and complementary breakfast for three days. I do recommend that this hotel upgrades the current issues, although the customer service recieved by the two above girls was wonderful.

At first I was concerned about the location of the hotel. Nothing to be worried about. The hotel is near the train station. (20 minutes walk). There are several options for dining around the hotel. The facilities are well kept (sauna/pool). The room was spacious and comfortable. Something to improve would be the operating ours for the bar. They close at 11. You could not get even a bottle of water unless you go and walk at least 10 minutes. Things that can improve for future travelers. 1. The attitude of the people in the lobby should represent the hotel brand. There was a staff person in the checking counter( I don’t know his name, male in his 30s…) yelling to another coworker and he didn’t mind if there were guests or not around. Truly unkind and unprofessional. 2. The restrooms in the lobby need a lot of maintenance. There were broken toilets and faucets. Besides these observations, this place is a very good option if you want to stay outside Barcelona.
