Casal Sikelio

We spent a week at Casal Sikelio with friends. It’s a wonderful, charming property with excellently maintained apartments, facilities and gardens. It’s a peaceful location within easy walking distance of Cassibile and a short drive to some lovely beaches, and the beautiful towns of Noto and Siracusa. Antonio and the rest of the staff are welcoming and helpful, making the stay thoroughly enjoyable. I’d recommend to anyone wanting to visit Sicily.

What a wonderful place. Large, spacious grounds, which are once owned by a baron, have now been befitting restored and updated to offer an amazing stay to any guest that is lucky to visit. Large swimming pool, large grounds to explore, outdoor bbq area, fresh oranges and lemons to pick and first class hosts. So glad we spent a week here. My little son loved it and didn't want to leave.

Casal Sikelio is a gem. The buildings are old , solid ,full of character and maintained to a high standard. Our rooms were spacious and well equipped, and pretty much soundproof, not that there was any noise to keep out such was the tranquil nature of the location.The grounds were immaculately maintained and well designed: lovely swimming pool, extensive lawns and well-positioned sitting-out areas. Our stay was unforgettably enhanced by Antonio, his family and staff. They were wonderfully hospitable, thoughtful, friendly and generous throughout our stay. Casal Sikelio is just a short walk to Cassibile. We enjoyed eating and drinking at the bars and restaurants of this interesting and unpretentious small town. The location of Casal Sikelio was ideal as a base for our exploration of the south-eastern area of Sicily. Hiring a car, we visited places such as Syracuse, Taormina, Noto and Marzamemi before returning to Casal Sikelio . We have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful establishment.

Amazing holiday as a family of 3 from the UK. Hotel is fantastic with beautiful buildings, large grassy areas with fruit trees, clean, spacious, modern rooms and an incredible swimming pool. Nearby town 5mins walk with plenty of cafes, bakeries and restaurants with full variety of tasty Italian cuisine. We caught air-conditioned buses/coaches to neighbouring Syracuse & Ortigia for a delightful historic trip and boat ride. Nearby beach was 5min drive or 20min walk Hank v soft sand and a warm, clear, blue sea. The owner Antonino and his colleague Desire were very helpful and friendly. Thank you Antonino & Desire for helping to make a great holiday.

Great place to stay!! Antonio is doing everything to make your stay as good as possible. The apartments are very good, enough space and everything available. The pool is very good and not to busy. There is a supermarket at walking distance and some restaurants nearby. In the area there some great and historic village which you can visit, with some very good restaurants. Antonio gives you very good tips for any visits. We will definitely come again.

Beautiful peaceful property. Stunning grounds with an enormous pool. Staff fantastic. Can’t rate this properly highly enough. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We were expecting a lot from our stay at Casal Sikelio but everything exceeded our expectations: our host, our apartment, the pool, property, etc. We wanted time to unwind and relax, it was perfect! Thanks to our host for their hospitality! We will surely recommend to our friends!
