Hotels near Tower of Santo Antonio de Cascais, Cascais

A very special place to stay; combination luxury hotel, art gallery, historical fort. It was a special treat to drive in through the front gate of a fortress to arrive at the door to this hotel. (Although it was confusing that the signage indicated ”Pousada” rather than ”Pestana” which made us wonder if we were at the right place. Staff was excellent; room was beautiful; breakfast was delicious; amenities were perfect. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cascais, especially if they are visiting for the first time. It's a short walk to the centre of town and the wide variety of restaurants, shops and beaches. How often does one get to stay in such a unique setting!!

We spent a great time in the hotel. It is very good for families with small children. The hotel was clean, stuff was friendly. Room was also clean and big enough for 2+1 people. The outside pools are good for adults and for children too. There are lot of sun beds, but need to occupy them quite early. There were kid activities during the day, but unfortunately only in English. Non-English speaking children need parents to help in them.

The location is great, at position C on the beach, the view outside the window is particularly healing. The hotel has a dedicated parking lot🅿, and parking fees are waived. The room is a bit old, the flush toilet doesn't work very well, the breakfast is mediocre, and the price/performance ratio is not high.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every second of it. This hotel was like something out of a Bond film. Every room in the hotel is unique with its own character. We had a room with a sea view (which I highly recommend reserving). The rooms were all charming, large with comfortable beds and amazing views off the (mostly) private patios. The pool was super clean and a nice area to spend time with a drink from the bar. Breakfast every morning was bountiful with fresh pastries, fruits, eggs, juices and coffee. The views from around the restaurant and pool area are the best in Cascais. Walk out the door and you are steps away from the town and some great shops, restaurants and bars. The train stop is also steps away if you want an easy way into Lisbon. We cannot wait to return!

The quality of this hotel was fantastic. Rooms are brand new, clean and spacious. Staff was great, and the breakfast was perfect. Temperature control was good (both heating/cooling in all seasons), and sound isolation made for a good sleep. The only negative was that the location isn't the best. The outdoor swimming pool and ocean view rooms, are next to a major street, which means that you can hear car traffic and smell some of the car exhaust/pollution. It's about a 10-minute walk to the sea. Contrast that to the Intercontinental Estoril, which is a similar high quality hotel, but is directly in front of the ocean (but also double the price of Legacy Cascais). Overall, i would recommend this hotel.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional. The room was wonderful, Deluxe room with Sea view. Clean and lots of extra treats, cakes and chocolates daily and mini bar stocked with non alcoholic drinks. The staff here are exceptional, friendly providing a first class service. The Evening meal in the restaurant was gourmet food at its best and the staff were very knowledgeable about the wines. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice. The hotel itself was beautiful, the location great, the parking was easy. The spa facilities were truly wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. They have the right balance of providing luxury whilst being family friendly.

We stayed for 3 nights end of September and loved Cascais and enjoyed our stay at Eurostars. Rooms were clean, modern -balcony with sea view was lovely. Staff was Exceptional. (Housekeeping, breakfast staff, bar staff, front desk). Requests were promptly addressed. Ie towels battery in safe deposit box low. Housekeeping did a great job, rooms were always promptly cleaned, Breakfast was varied and well stocked. Fresh scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, cereals, great pastries and juices. We arrived early after an overnight night flight. The hotel stored our luggage and we explored Cascais. There is a gym with showers. I should have thought to use the gym before our room was ready. The hotel was great to accommodate a late check out. Claudia The checked us in later in the afternoon was amazing. The 30 to 40 minutes walk into town along the sea is beautiful. The Uber rides are 3 to 5 euros to return to the hotel.

Lovely spacious room with balcony overlooking the marina! The bathroom was a little outdated with no walk-in shower but only a minor point. This is a very large hotel which is part of the renovated 16th century Citadel and can only be accessed by car through the gates and across the square. Unloading of the car can be done outside and the car then parked in an underground secure car park close by. The hotel cannot be accessed from the car park. However, the help given with luggage by the porter was very much appreciated and delivered to the room. This was reversed when we left with the porter again taking all our luggage from the room to the car parked in front. Reception staff were professional. Servicing the room was quite late but when asked the housekeeping staff did there best to clean the room when we returned in the afternoon - they have a lot of rooms to service! Breakfast was lovely on the roof with great views - we were lucky with weather and we were able to sit outside with our dog every morning! Choices were good, and hot food can be ordered; the staff were cheerful and helpful! We used both pools during our stay and the indoor was small but lovely and the outdoor roof top pool was also OK with loungers. The walk to the outdoor pool was lengthy....the walk anywhere inside the hotel can be long depending on where you are located and you can easily lose your way.......however, we found a quick way to the outside opposite the lovely marina with some very good shops and restaurants! The hotel was also a reasonable 15 minutes walk into the lovely town of Cascais with lots of places to eat and drink and shopping!

Accommodation at nice and spacious golf villas less than 80 metres from the hotel, and a delicious breakfast at the hotel every morning was an excellent arrangement! Recommend it warmly. The staff at the Onyria Marinha Boutique Hotel was friendliest ever: lovely ladies at the reception, Luiza, Rafaela and Nadia, young men at the door and the whole breakfast staff. All with a friendly greeting and smile, always ready to help us. Thank you so much, each and everybody.❣️ The hotel's location is ideal for golfers as well as non-golfers. Cascais, Estoril, Lisbon, Sintra and Cabo da Roca are near and worth visiting. The weather was fine for golfing, with only 1,5 days rain.

The hotel's environment and services are very good, very quiet and beautiful. I just felt that the location was a little bit out of the way, so I changed to a hotel. But after changing hotels, I felt that Sheraton's service and rooms were better in comparison. I will book this hotel next time I come here. It’s cost-effective and the service is good.
