Vale da Lapa Village Resort

the resort is beautiful and clean. but the only point is reception is 10 mins walk from my villa and it is said I can be added by staff WhatsApp， but during my stay no one contact me. So I can not book my breakfast and dinner.

We stayed here for 7 nights, then travelled to a 5 star hotel in the Hilton. We missed the Vale de Lapa Resort and the amazing staff so much that we left Vilamoura and went back. Villas are amazing so spacious, walk in wardrobes, 3 bathrooms, huge living rooms, daily cleaning. Pool area class, no one rushing to put out towels until after 9pm. There’s paddle tennis, basketball/football Astro mini pitch, covered heated pool and a spa. Lunch menu is great, there’s a selection of Tapas, omelettes, sandwiches, pizzas and lovely bar. Pricing is really reasonable compared to the Vilamoura Hotel we stayed in. Staff are so friendly and will always welcome you with a smile. Can’t wait to go back next year.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights here, and only wished it was longer. Stayed in a two bed villa with TV in every bedroom and also a big one downstairs. Size of the bedrooms, kitchen and living/dinning area is massive. The garden, shrubbery and a small rock pool was immaculately maintained. The indoor pool, jacuzzi , Sauna and the steam room was a huge huge plus. My wife had a hot stone massage, thinks this might be the best she ever had. The stuff at front desk are polite, the cleaners are efficient. I just could go on and on.

It’s a lovely resort with great staff. It’s a bit unlucky that the restaurant is under renovation now but we can still find some good restaurants nearby.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and had an amazing time. The villa is equipped with everything you need, you feel at home, in every room there is a TV, several bathrooms, a shower, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable temperatures are maintained using heating air conditioners. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and ready to help 24/7. It was very helpful to have a heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna; every evening after the beach and a walk we spent in the spa. We will return with great pleasure.

Went in off season which was perfect 70 degree weather and super quiet. Unbelievable for the low price !!! Great for a family

We have just returned from a 6 night stay at the beautiful Vale De Lapa. We honestly couldn't have been happier with our stay from start to finish. When we arrived we were welcomed by an attentive, helpful reception team who gave us all of the relevant information. When we booked we booked a garden view room accidentally, however when we were checking in we were told they had put us in a pool view room as we had a child and that is usually easier for guests. We found this so intuitive of them and just a really nice touch and it was so much easier to be close to the pool and restaurant. The villa itself was very spacious and immaculately clean and tidy. It has 2 balconies, 3 bathrooms a kitchen stocked with all the equipment you would need (no food items though such as oil l, salt pepper etc so you would need to pick some up) a huge king sized bed, amazing black out blinds, daily housekeeping, plenty of closet space and air conditioning. Being close to the pool we had direct access to the pool and restaurant which was a huge plus. On site - there is a bar serving food and drinks (lunch menu till 6pm, evening menu starts at 7pm) which can also be consumed at the pool during the day. We ate at the restaurant in the evening 3 nights out of our 6 and we were so impressed each time. Wine options were great as were the cocktails. There is a set menu each evening which we found great value! There is a spa which is on the expensive side however it is worth it as I had a fabulous full body massage and it was perfect! There are 3 pools, a large outdoor one, a toddler pool and a heated indoor one. All of these were really good! Location - it is about a 30min walk from the town (up hill on return) we did this about once a day sometimes twice and it is very walkable depending on fitness levels. We did get a taxi 2 nights out of the 6 and this was about €7. There is also the little town train that comes by twice a day (once at 10.10am and once around 6.40pm) bringing you to and from the town which our daughter loved and is free for residents. We did also have a car and that made getting to nearby areas very easy. Service - for me this was the stand out area. It is easily 5 star. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the staff couldn't not do enough for you. We want to specially mention Rui, Luiza, Fabio and Charlene. They made our trip so special by giving us great recommendations to local attractions, fantastic service in the restaurant and pool and most importantly interacting with our toddler, they made her feel so special and she was very sad to have leave, as were we all. If we are ever lucky enough to travel to The Algarve again we would not think twice about staying here, it was absolutely perfect.

An Exceptional Resort Our 5th time staying at this resort and again we weren’t disappointed. The staff and service were excellent before we even arrived at the resort with prompt responses to all our requests and queries. On arrival, the staff were very welcoming and friendly and provided us with lots of information regarding the resort. They also have a WhatsApp service if you have any questions like taxi services etc., which is so useful. We booked a villa with a pool, and it was so clean, spacious, and welcoming. The pool and gardens were so tranquil and well-maintained. The resort is gated with security and very clean and well looked after – very pleasant to walk around. The daily cleaning services were outstanding and very much appreciated – the cleaners were so thorough and provided clean towels every day. The staff were always so friendly, attentive, and considerate – preserving the reputation of Portuguese people of being amiable and kind-hearted. I celebrated my birthday whilst there and they made it so special with a wonderful birthday cake and Prosecco – warmed my heart! To sum up, the resort is 5-star – fab accommodation, friendly and helpful staff, with a chilled and welcoming air – can’t wait to visit again.
