Lovely rooftop bar and pool with the best views in Cartagena. Decent size room with enormous bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast was 5 star dining- a bit over the top in terms of the fuss and effort but a special experience. Sadly our nights sleep was disrupted by the loud private party on the roof which mercifully stopped at midnight.

Everything in the hotel was great but once you get outside you know you're in a tourist area. The price of anything is ridiculous

Room was clean and spacious, breakfast took over an hour to come out and chia bowl was not prepared properly. Also some mystery charges when checking out. Front desk did not explain well.

Paid for the best room — at least that’s how it was marketed. The rug and the furniture were worn and stained. It was disgusting. The rooftop pool was tiny. There was only seating for a few people at the pool. Having traveled over a dozen times to Cartagena the past 25 years and almost always liking the accommodation, I was shocked that this hotel is marketed as a luxury hotel. It is a dump.

They had to change my room as the Wi-Fi is not very good in the first room, but a little bit better in the second room. But century located so it’s exciting area.

The room was clean and well appointed but just a little bit musty when we entered. I loved the location of this hotel it was near to everything no need for cabs. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was just meh, the menu could be more varied especially breakfast. We loved the rooftop restaurant for the view and atmosphere. I would stay there again but just eat out more.

The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Each one was beyond helpful and knowledgable. . A special thanks to Anyelli who was just spectacular. The room was not that of a 5 star hotel. Voices could be heard throughout the night and running water in the wall from another room which was next to my bed was awful. While they did offer to change my room I did not feel like re packing again. I feel this was a known issue and needs to be properly corrected before that room is rented out. I will come back to this hotel just not that room. Food and rooftop bar was amazing was well.

Extremely Disappointed with Our Experience We stayed at this hotel this past weekend for my sister’s wedding, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. For months, our family communicated with the front desk to ensure our rooms would be near the bride for convenience and comfort, especially since we had small children and needed to coordinate with her. Despite all this planning, the woman at the front desk deliberately placed other guests from the wedding on the same floor as the bride — but not her immediate family. We were given the worst rooms and were placed on the first floor while the bride was on the sixth. The front desk staff member was often rude, dismissive, and at times didn’t even answer the phone. When the wedding party arrived, she was nowhere to be found. For someone who appeared to be the manager or person in charge, this behavior was completely unacceptable. After months of preparation, we expected at least a basic level of courtesy and communication, but that was clearly too much to ask. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone planning a special event or family gathering — the lack of professionalism and disregard for guests’ needs was extremely disappointing.
