The experience was a mix of both positive experiences and areas of opportunity, in the positive aspects the service provided by the staff was great, kudos to the restaurant staff as they were very welcoming and friendly with us. Reception, a couple of things to mention: We had a delay on our check-in due to the room having some issues related to the door, we were requested to wait for 15 minutes after the 15:00 check-in, and we did, after this time I had to reach back to the reception to check if the room was ready, still, had to wait for another 15 minutes. It was a total of 30 minutes out of schedule from the initial check-in due hotel's fault, we arrived with more than an hour of anticipation. There was nothing but an apology, not even a slight interest in offering compensation for the wait time, which could have been a plus in the customer service experience. On the other hand. we had several technical issues entering our room, as everytime we where off the room for a while the card wouldn't work, this was a consistent inconvenience in every single day, at the point that at our last 2 days staying at the hotel we directly reached reception to get the card fixed as we were already tired from previous days to reach the 5th floor for our room and then having to go down to reception to report the issue with the card, reach 5th floor again and AGAIN visit reception because the card wouldn't work, this could have been activelly addressed with either a room change or a technical review, however, it surprised us that instead of the receptionist offering at least an apologize we were told it was because WE used the card on another electreonic device, which never happened, another thing to point out was that at their main elevator someone popped a pimple at the elevator's mirror, and that disgusting pimple stayed there for more than 4 days, which indicates that the facility cleaning is not optimal, following this though at our room the blackout was stained at a corner, and even with having staff cleaning the room that stain remained from day 1 untill we left, probably someone spilled a drink at the balcony and it dropped at the blackout. Positive things: Restaurant service and overall attitude from the staff, ubication was good, close to the beach and with a nice view. AOO: A more customer-oriented thinking, at least showing interest in going the extra mile with their customers, cleaning.

its ok if you drive but nothing is close to you if you walking , it s not far from airport like i said nothing is around it i left the same night for better location i wont suggest if you trying to explore colombia

Firstly if you are a solo traveller this hotel is not for you, please keep scrolling, to bring someone in you get charged 180.000 pesos. Outrageous. Most of the reviews here are 100% accurate and the pillows are made comfy and they have cleaners who clean your room every morning if you want. The big black dude at the front is doing too much I think He wants to be the manager horrible dude.

Beware the “50,000 Peso Towel Scam” at Hotel Summe I recently stayed at Hotel Summer Frente Al Mar in Cartagena, and while the property itself may look fine, guests — especially foreigners — should be aware of a dishonest practice I encountered at checkout. Upon leaving, I was told to wait while staff “checked” the room. A young employee returned and claimed I had to pay 50,000 pesos because the towels were “dirty.” Let me be clear: towels are supposed to be dirty — that’s why hotels wash them. I had no stains, no blood, no wine, nothing unusual. Just normal use from sweat, exercise, beach sand, and daily showering. This was nothing more than a hustle aimed at taking advantage of foreigners who might not question it. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. Hotels that rely on international tourism should not be running scams on their guests. Travelers deserve honesty, not intimidation over something as absurd as “dirty towels.” My advice: do not stay at this property unless you’re prepared to deal with scams like this. And if you do, make sure you bring your own towel.
