Really nice, newly renovated, large rooms! Very comfortable bed and pillows. Right in downtown and a ~10 minute walk down the road to the beach.

The hotel has a great location, right on the main street, making it very close to the beach or shopping (just a few hundred meters away). There are also many unique restaurants, galleries, and craft shops nearby. However, I would like to offer a suggestion: although the hotel includes breakfast, it is mostly cold, and the eggs are packaged.

Hotel location is perfect, room was very clean, above average bedding & towels, comfortable bed. On site parking limited but accessed a spot each night. Breakfast continental, yet plenty. Coffee very good. Attendant in breakfast room was helpful & pleasant.

Loved this place especially the fireplace auto turn on and off. Our room was so nice and comfortable. Location was perfect and dinner recommendations from hotel was perfect for our anniversary! Breakfast was great too it was included but the lady serving in breakfast nook need to relax a little!

We had a hiccup with our room but it was quickly resolved and we were very satisfied. Good. Location, parking is a nightmare on weekends.

The first night Carmel was having a heat wave and the room was extremely hot. No AC in the room and only one of the wondows open. I know this is a rare situation but it would have been nice if they had fans in the rooms for days like this. Wouldn't be much of a cost for the Inn and definitely would hve made.the night more bearable. Weather was normal after that and we had a wonderful trip. I usually stay at the Normandy Inn when my wife and I visit Carmel which is a few times a year.
