Hotel Carmel

Quiet but bar next door offers great little place to watch sports with drinks & snacks, Beautiful grounds & gardens. Room very nice, bathrooms small but i get it! Just how it is in Carmel by the Sea. Short walk to everything downtown.

The room was clean, staff friendly, spa area sweet. Walking distance to all restaurants, shops, and beach (if you want to walk the hill) The bar brought some extra midnight noise but if you don’t mind that, and are a hard sleeper, or in a room not next to it, you’re probably fine. Parking is tight

I will absolutely return to Hotel Carmel which oozes hospitality from the moment you arrive, in its guest rooms (opt for a fireplace!) the healthy breakfast each morning and the quick walk to shopping and restaurant- its role in my impression of Carmel-by-the-Sea was co siderable

I loved the location of the hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. The parking needs improvement as there is not enough spaces onsite. The weather was hot and they did not have an air conditioner which made it uncomfortable. We loved the Bar on the corner for a quick dinner. The convenience was nice. The staff was amazing.

Very pleasant an clean place conveniently located to Carmel. Some street construction noise while we were there but not their issue. Nice amenities. Would retur for sure next year.

Great option for downtown Carmel. The location is perfect and the hotel is well maintained. Everything about the stay was great. The breakfast each morning was nice and Brophy’s Tavern is a convenient option for a quick bite or drink. The food was delicious. We definitely will be back to the hotel!

Lovely, well appointed room with all the essentials. Loved the 2nd floor with outside seating to enjoy a morning coffee. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Perfect breakfast each morning.
