Wonderful Stay — Highly RecommendWe had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. The views are truly incredible, and the house itself is thoughtfully updated with a well‑appointed kitchen, great common areas, and very comfortable bedrooms. The home sits on a hill, so you do need to be able to handle one flight of stairs, but once you’re inside, the layout makes perfect sense and feels both unique and welcoming.Callie, the owner, provided one of the best hosting experiences I’ve had on VRBO. Her communication was impeccable, and she even did a personal check‑in — something you rarely see but greatly appreciate. She walked us through the home and explained its features and quirks, which made settling in effortless.The photos didn’t fully convey how the house sits on the hill, but everything clicked once we arrived. It’s a special property, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing stay.This was truly one of my best VRBO experiences. I 100% recommend this home and look forward to visiting again.

Terrific location and spectacular views! My extended family really enjoyed our stay - the house had everything we needed, including lots of dishes, pots, and pans, and key kitchen items you barely find in rentals, but make such a difference – like tinfoil and saran wrap. The host left us a lovely bottle of wine and some snacks and even coffee. Beds were comfortable. Showers were hot plenty of room for all of us. A !

We felt comfortable from the beginning as hosts reached out before arrival. They met us at check in and went through home to show us all amenities. The house and view were amazing. We would return whenever possible!

We could not imagine a better set up than what we experienced at the Big- Sur lodge just North of Carmel by the sea. The views were incredible and the decor inside reflects that beauty too..in design and in detail. Very comfortable beds and two rooms had bathrooms attached and the third bedroom had a bathroom very near .Also two great gathering areas and fully stocked kitchen. My son had some work he had to attend to and the WiFi was great too. Callie is a great communicator .This was our family's first time to Carmel and we hope to return .

I booked the main house for our 40th anniversary for 8 guests. We stayed 4 nights and cooked in twice for dinner. The kitchen is well equipped with all we needed for meal preparations. We brought 3 cars and had plenty of space for parking. We enjoyed game play with Mexican train, Trouble, and Yahtzee and discovered Mexican train is provided. We arrived to relaxing music and a gas fireplace. Daytrips to Salinas, Carmel Beach, and Point Lobos were easy and enjoyable. Great location and everything we needed was at hand

Everything was excellent. Wish we had a fire pit like the one on the first floor. Thank you for your hospitality! Your place was perfect. Thank you.

Incredible views and hospitality Check in was a smooth process with the host giving a quick guided tour of the property. Stunning views from the front bed room and wrap around patio. Grill on property was a bonus, plus the well stocked kitchen made our stay-in meals a breeze. Easy checkout process as well. Would stay here again in the future!
