This hotel is very comfortable. However, I am not at all happy that they have removed TV cable and have only APPS for TV viewing. Not everyone is into that. I have to resort to watching the TV programs I like on my laptop. NOT cool, especially for the price of the room.

Very nice place! Very quiet! Thanksgiving in the states nothing is open. Was looking forward to a meal at the hotel however the restaurant was closed. Thankful for the Chinese restaurant it was the only thing open in town! Good food and friendly people!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The parking was behind the hotel in a covered garage, which was nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a queen suite which would be great for a family. The breakfast was okay your normal hotel continental breakfast. The restaurant food was good and the waitress was wonderful.

Carbondale is a long way from our normal path, but having to stay the night last, we were sure happy to find Hotel Anthracite. Very pleasant in every way.
