After arriving late in the night, it was awesome to come into a room that was spotless and the room temperature was perfect. The next morning we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful guy, Joe, who made sure we had everything we needed for a yummy breakfast. Joe was so very personable and kind. They were remodeling when I stayed with them, but the lobby & room were clean and the staff was very friendly.

Staff polite, attentive, professional. Room clean, quiet, efficient. Bathroom functional, nothing special--clean. Window can open--fresh air; however, room was cool and had no discernable scent. Fridge/microwave were adequate. Iron/board useful. Mattress and pillows acceptable. No elevator; keep in mind when booking as hotel has 3 floors and the hallways are not air-conditioned nor are the stairs. Lobby very small. Community areas are as clean as possible. Do not expect a filling breakfast. Location in town is fantastic. Mall/movie theatre across the street. Numerous restaurants. Various businesses.

Great location to many of the sights within the Shawnee National Forest. Giant City State Park which is a must see was very close. The rooms were updated, clean, comfortable and had a nice layout. Our room was on the 1st floor and we could park by pool and come in a side door which was very convenient. The bathroom shower had great water pressure. The hair dryer was a little weak. Internet was just ok. Breakfast was good. Room had microwave, fridge, and coffeemaker. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

I had a good experience there. The rooms are nice and the staff is helpful.
