"My stay at The Pod @ Beach Road was a genuinely pleasant experience. For anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Singapore, this is an excellent choice. The location is hard to beat. It’s within walking distance of Bugis, Haji Lane, Kampong Glam, and several MRT stations, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. There are also plenty of cafés, hawker centres, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby. The capsules are modern, comfortable, and provide a good level of privacy. The entire property was spotless throughout my stay, with the shared facilities cleaned regularly. Even with a good number of guests, the atmosphere remained calm and respectful. A special mention goes to the staff, who were consistently friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. What I appreciated most was the overall value for money. It’s a simple concept executed very well—clean, safe, comfortable, and in a fantastic location. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Singapore and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone travelling alone or even to couples looking for a smart and budget-friendly base in the city."

"overall it’s a comfort stay. in every room, they provided 2 pillows, toothbrush, earplugs, towel, and slippers. a pro tip to safe money, you can bring your own tumbler / bottle as they provided water dispenser outside the room. i was asking for dropping my luggage early, lucky me i got early checkin instead 😄 friendly and helpful staffs. female washrooms cleanliness was far from perfect, which was understandable coz it’s a shared space. however, the sewage smells made it more terrible 😞 then shower room were too small so anything that you hanging behind door likely to get wet coz of water splash while u showering"

"I had a wonderful stay at The Room @ Bugis Capsule Hotel. The hostel was clean, tidy, and well-maintained throughout my stay. The location is very convenient, with easy access to MRT stations, restaurants, and popular attractions. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist guests. A special thanks to Htut, the Burmese staff member, for his excellent service, warm hospitality, and helpful attitude. He made my stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Great value for money, especially for solo travelers. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore!"

"The hostel had everything I needed, including towels, a hair dryer, a washing machine, comfortable and cozy beds with privacy curtains, lockers, and a convenient self-check-in facility. There were plenty of clean bathrooms and showers, as well as a dining area and a refrigerator for guests to use. The environment was peaceful, making it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it."

"A space capsule hostel – sounds unusual, but it's actually really cool. Everything is compact, well-designed, and full of character. The location is excellent, close to everything. It has its own unique atmosphere. A great choice if you want more than just a place to sleep, but an experience."

"Completely exceeded my expectations! The lobby smelled amazing as soon as I walked in. The bed was also really big and even more comfortable than I imagined. The staff were very friendly, making for a pleasant and safe stay. It's super close to the Merlion, just a ten-minute walk. Excellent value for money. If I get the chance to travel there again, I'll definitely choose this hotel!"

"Wonderful hostel! The best I've ever stayed in! The staff are fantastic, very welcoming. They're on-site 24/7 and always ready to help. It's incredibly clean inside, with spotless bathrooms. The temperature is perfect: the air conditioning works great, and there's adjustable air circulation inside the capsules. There's also a separate work area. Hot and cold water, tea, and coffee are always available. The location is superb, with everything within walking distance. There are many affordable places to eat nearby, and public transport is easily accessible. I'll recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore."

"This is a wonderful place to spend a few nights if you're transiting through Singapore! And it's quite affordable compared to other options. The main city attractions are about a 40-minute walk away, and there are also metro and bus stops nearby. Plus, there's a Chinese food court not far, where you can grab a cheap bite. A nice bonus at the hotel itself was that all guests are offered breakfast from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Toasts, cereal with milk, tea, and coffee are all complimentary. The capsules are clean and comfortable. My wife and I fit in easily with room to spare for some of our belongings, including small backpacks. You can choose different lighting options and turn on the air conditioning inside the capsule. There are also several USB ports and an electrical outlet. The only issues were the rather cold communal air conditioning and the 'door' to the capsule, which was just a curtain."

"I continued staying at this hostel for a second night. In the morning, I saw two people who looked like staff in the living room, and it turned out they were indeed the front desk. One guy spoke Chinese, and the other, a dark-skinned woman, didn't. Their 'workstation' was literally the dining table in the living room – absolutely wild! It's worth noting that the toilet and shower are combined, with no separation between wet and dry areas. Also, for some reason, on the second night, someone was constantly packing their luggage until 2:30 AM, which meant I didn't get a good night's sleep. If you're sensitive to noise or need a quiet environment, you might want to think twice before choosing this place."

"Excellent hostel! Several metro stations are conveniently located within a 5-10 minute walk. Marina Bay and Chinatown are easily reachable on foot, which I did every evening. There are also at least 3 food courts nearby with prices starting from $5. I ate at two of them – delicious and cheap, with a huge selection of dishes, including Thai and Chinese cuisine. The staff (three guys) are very friendly and helpful with everything, from giving advice on where to go to what to try. In the kitchen, tea, 3-in-1 coffee, and sugar are available for free 24/7. There's a microwave, kettle, and a water cooler where you can fill your own bottle and avoid buying water from 7/11. There's also a small fridge if you have leftovers or bought something for breakfast in advance. The hostel's breakfast is modest, but it's great that it's even included for the price of accommodation – 3 types of cereal, 3 types of milk (regular, chocolate, soy), toast (white and wholemeal bread), and toppings (2 kinds of jam, chocolate spread, peanut butter, and something else). In short, everyone will find something to their liking. Now for the cons: There's only one hairdryer in the female shower room, and it's not working. Your luggage, both large and carry-on, won't fit into the lockers and will be left in the hallways throughout the hostel because there isn't a separate luggage storage room. The hostel entrance isn't time-restricted, so people can check in or return from outings at 2 or 3 AM, which is disruptive and will wake everyone in the room. Overall, the downsides are minor. If I have the chance to visit Singapore again, I will definitely choose this hostel ❤️"
