"✨ Acro Capsule Hotel (Japan) 🇯🇵 My first time staying in a capsule hotel, and honestly, I was more impressed than I expected! 📍 Location: Amazing! It’s very close to Dotonbori—just a few minutes’ walk to food, shopping, and nightlife. Also near train stations, so getting around is super convenient. 🛏 Capsule Room: I thought it would be very small, but it’s actually more spacious than expected. I could stretch out comfortably. There’s decent privacy with a curtain, plus a power outlet and personal light. 🧼 Cleanliness: Highly rated! The bathrooms and showers are very clean. Amenities are provided, including towels and a hair dryer. 👩💼 Staff: Friendly, helpful, and able to communicate in English, which makes everything much easier. 👍 Pros: - Great value for money, perfect for budget travelers - Excellent central location - Secure system with lockers for your belongings ⚠️ Cons: - If you get an upper capsule, climbing up and down can be a bit inconvenient (though it’s slightly cheaper than the lower one) - Some noise is unavoidable since it’s a shared space - It can feel a bit warm or stuffy at times 💬 Overall: Perfect for solo travelers or anyone who wants to try the capsule hotel experience in Japan. If you don’t mind limited personal space, it’s definitely worth it!"

"The environment is comfortable, and being able to soak in the hot springs at a capsule hotel is fantastic! The location is also excellent, just 50 meters straight from the subway 🚇, a 2-minute walk. It's a 5-minute walk to catch the Nankai Line to Kansai Airport or Mount Koya. The privacy is great, but the soundproofing is poor. During my three-night stay, it really depended on luck. The worst was the night of April 6th-7th (my second night). My neighbor was packing their suitcase from 11 PM to 12:30 AM – **incredibly loud**! It woke me up, and then other roommates left at 2:30 AM. The other two nights were okay. Despite all this, I'm still willing to give it an overall score of 4.8 and would stay here again next time."

"The location is fantastic, just a two to three-minute walk across the street from Namba Subway Station Exit 22. You take off your shoes downstairs, and check-in is on the second floor. Once you get your key, you can head to your capsule, the bathrooms, and the locker area. The showers are Japanese-style, just like in the movies – you sit down to wash thoroughly before soaking in the tub. It's only two streets away from Shinsaibashi, and there are tons of food options nearby, which ended up costing me a lot, haha! This will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Osaka."

"I recently stayed at Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi during my trip to Osaka, and I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quality packed into this compact, capsule-style accommodation. One of the biggest highlights of my stay was the toilet and bathroom area — exceptionally clean, modern, and cozy. Despite being a shared facility, everything was spotless and well-maintained at all times. The design was sleek, and the space felt more like a boutique hotel than a budget capsule. The toilets are equipped with Japan’s signature high-tech bidet functions, and the overall cleanliness really exceeded my expectations. Even the subtle lighting and warm wood tones added to the relaxing feel every time I used the bathroom. The rest of the hotel was equally impressive. The capsules were comfortable, quiet, and felt more private than I expected. The lounge area was a nice place to relax or do a bit of planning for the day. Plus, the location is perfect — just a short walk from Shinsaibashi shopping street and a quick train ride to most Osaka hotspots. If you’re looking for a well-designed, clean, and cozy place to stay in Osaka, I highly recommend Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi. Especially if you value hygiene and comfort in shared facilities, this hotel delivers above and beyond."

"Everything is fine exept the thinnest and hardest pillow I've ever seen in my life. A bit old amenities add a touch of true charm to here. They speak a bit English. The only unpleasant point was my communcation about the locker key I couldn't find in the morning. They immediately asked me to pay 7.000 yen as for lost item, not even suggesting to wait for it to be found by staff or guests, as I hadn't left the premises. Of course, the key was found by someone very soon."

"How to get there? 1. If you land at Terminal 1, first find the connecting corridor to Terminal 2, or locate the JR station entrance. 2. Facing the JR station entrance, you'll see the hotel sign on your left-hand side! 3. Follow the sign, and you'll spot a Lawson convenience store and an escalator. Take the escalator to the second floor! 4. Once on the second floor, you'll see a pizza restaurant and the hotel's directional sign. Just walk all the way to the end, and you're there! (#) Stay Experience: 1. Cons: The soundproofing is practically non-existent, it's terrible!! People walking outside sound like an earthquake. It's hell for light sleepers. Remember to get an eye mask and earplugs from the front desk! 2. Friendly reminder: I didn't realize the room had air conditioning. The AC switch is right next to the light adjustment buttons. I slept incredibly cold all night and had to use my down jacket as a blanket. 3. Pay attention when the front desk assigns your room. It was my first time staying, and I didn't know, so they gave me one of the very first rooms, which meant a lot of people walked by. Avoid W302 and W303; they are especially noisy and right next to the entrance and luggage room. 4. Pros: Taking a hot shower was incredibly comfortable, and they provide shower gel, conditioner, shampoo, makeup remover, makeup remover wipes, facial cleanser, cotton swabs, comb, toothpaste, and toothbrush (no cups, and no disposable cups!). 5. The bed is very firm, which is great for people with back problems! 6. Towels and sleepwear are provided. The sleepwear is like the kind you'd wear in a large public bathhouse in China. (!): Overall, for 400 a night, if it weren't for a very early transfer, I wouldn't recommend it. It's better to find a nearby hotel. Apart from being quick and convenient, other hotels offer better value for money."

"The hostel is located nearby JR Namba station (South Exit) only 1 min by walk and there is the elevator in the building on the right hand side of south exit of JR namba station that you can use to get down and the building is connected with JR Namba station south exit. There is separate floor for only women that you have to tap the keycard in the elevator to go up to your floor and tap again on the door to get in the main room. On the women’s floor, there are living room, bedroom, bathroom, toilet rooms, onsen rooms, changing room, locker rooms, makeup spaces that offer you the makeup remover , cleansing foam, hairdryer, hairspray, Hair straightener, Curling iron) and all are separate rooms in the same floor. Moreover, they offer you for first check in with free pajamas, towel, hair towel, slippers, and more facilities that you need for travel. Also there are vending machines, laundry machine and dryer machine on the floor that you can use 24/7. The staff were super nice and helpful! There is a good tiny coffee shop nearby the hostel, I’d highly recommend!"

"Great hotel! It is larger than a capsule hotel, with a space over your head. While the cabin itself cannot be locked, but they provide storage beside the bed that can be locked. Onsen and shower are clean. The location is great and staffs are helpful."

"This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations; it's almost on par with a five-star hotel. I've stayed in many capsule hotels, and this one is the best. The large public bath has everything you could possibly need, they even provide swim trunks! Razors, toothbrushes, hand towels, bath towels, pumice stones, exfoliating mitts, and multiple types of facial cleansers – they have it all. Can you believe there's even an open-air bath? They also offer massages, but those are extra. And seriously, they even have a blood pressure monitor! After showering, you can grab a drink and some noodles, which can be charged directly to your room. The luggage area has a huge packing table, with space underneath for oversized luggage (I didn't use it so I don't know if there's a charge). The lounge area has sofas for watching TV, and even a smoking section – it's incredibly convenient! Right outside the hotel is Umeda Higashidori Street, where bunny girls invite you to all-you-can-drink deals, and there are all sorts of food options around. The capsule itself is quite spacious, and the bedding is incredibly clean – I mean five-star hotel quality clean. I don't understand why the rating is low; for me, the only 'downside' is that there are too many amenities and services to explore before I had to check out. For a capsule hotel, the service is almost too much! One final friendly tip: you'll still need to buy your own toothpaste..."
