A wonderful place for a getaway. Lovely accommodation. Comfortable and perfectly equipped. Nice communal kitchen and a swimming pool to cool off. Stunning scenery too. Highly recommend raptor rise. So peaceful

We had a lovely stay at Raptor rise. The staff was kind and helpful and our room was beautiful. We stayed there for a friends wedding and it was easily accessible and close to nice wine farms and champagne tastings. The facilities they had to offer was ideal for friends wanting to catch up and have a braai next to the pool.

Excellent in every respect. From the view of the surrounds mountains to the peace and tranquility of the location. Top class kitchen with all amenities, crockery, cutlery etc, the best. Cannot find fault with anything. Will definitely be back. Thanks to all concerned. de Waal Davis

We didn’t know we needed this getaway as much as we did until we got there. The calm atmosphere, the animals we amazing to watch, anything we thought “oh I wish we brought this” we found one already there. The beds were very comfy, and we would come back in a heartbeat.

It is with some hesitation that I write this review - if I give it the glowing review it deserves, more will make use of the property, making the times available for me to book more difficult :-) Seriously though, this is a fantastic property, which ticks all the boxes: pet-friendly, private pool, air-conditioning, great views, luxurious accommodation, friendly and helpful hosts and staff - it is clearly evident that pride is taken in offering Raptor Rise to the public - and this pride is well-deserved! If I had to choose my top venue for the past few years, this would be it. And a special thanks to Sarah for going the extra mile to make our aniversary stay even more special!

Raptor Rise is a gem In the beautiful Witzenberg Valley near Tulbagh. From the day we made the reservation to even after we had departed we felt spoilt in every sense. The views, the accomodation, the facilities, the people- all world class.If you feel like getting away from it all, this must be it. You will not be disappointed.

Raptor Rise never disappoints - we always have a wonderful time. Great accommodation options, and very well-kept grounds. Beds are always comfortable, and the rooms are always very clean. Units are self-catering and you'll find everything you need. Within a week of returning home, we booked our next stay.

Raptor Rise far outweighed my expectations. The cottage is secluded and gave us the privacy we hoped for. The attention to detail can be seen everywhere throughout the farm. The staff are very professional and attended to all our needs. We will most certainly visit again.

Raptor Rise is situated just outside Tulbagh. The views across the mountains are beautiful and so are the sunsets. We stayed in a stable room as it was all that was available when I booked which is a little compact. But everything is there and the room was very clean. A handful of wineries and a brewery/restaurant are a 5 to 10 minute drive away. There is a small swimming pool and a large communal kitchen area.
