Setting and old Manor House added to a nostalgic morning Buffet Breakfast - food tables with cereals, pastries, muffins fresh and pouched fruit, Juices then cold meats cheeses and fresh tomato cucumber olives etc followed by hot buffet with different sausages, mince, bacon, mushrooms, baked beans and eggs to order (Only missed sautéed potatoes ) Bread for toast - ordinary super market cheap bread pulled a perfect breakfast to less perfect Staff: Reception staff very friendly but non of them or the group of another 3 people wore their masks or kept social distancing DINING ROOM : supervisor accommodating, helpful and really went the extra mile to ensure our requests were carried out. The waitress serving us was equally helpful and needs recommendation how she attended to Physically disabled lady without being asked PROBLEM - group of young POLO team members entered the dining room in WET SWIMMING GEAR, Disruptive behavior , did not wear masks, nor put on gloves to dish their plates, they touched food with their hand and the worst was they stormed into the small room where hot food was served, TOTAL DISREGARD OF RULE - keep social distance - and with a sudden 20 + people pushing us out the way and standing over us ....we left the room until they were done and went back for our food THE DINING ROOM SUPERVISOR DID NOTHING TO STOP THIS !!! He should have asked the Team leaders / elders to speak to them and if still not compliant apply the rule : RIGHT OF ADMISSION .... No managing of his Hotels rules

Love this hotel. 15 minute walk to Victoria and Alfred Hotel by the wharf, lots of things to do, places to eat, close to banks with ATM, close to shop. Ots got its own restaurant, you can order room service, they have a 7 day Happy Hour from 5-7, good breakfast buffet. Room with a balcony, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, pots n pans, plates, etc like you are in a condo. My room has a huge living room and dining, King size bed, tv in bedroom and living room. Most of all the staffs are all professional, helpful and very nice, especially the Manager Zilu - superb customer service! Zora, Tyrone, Gode and Unathi and many others that I cannot remember their names ❤️ I love this hotel 👍

On a recent guided tour to South Africa, this was the hotel we were based in for our 4 days in Cape Town. It is handily located 5mins taxi ride (20min plus walk) from the Waterfront in Cape Town. It is in a quiet part of the city. The hotel is modern, the staff very friendly and rooms well sized and equipped (although having a curtain to pull right across the width of the room to seperate the room when someone was in the shower is a novelty). Depending on which side of the hotel you are on you get a great view of Table Mountain/Signal Hill. Breakfast was included and the hoetl breakfast selection was excellent, a good start to the day. All in all a very pleasant stay, a great base for exploring Cape Town and a good start to the trip

This was a price I won on a race. I thought we would go and spoil ourselves, even we live closeby and had to pay a bit extra. My partner arrived first. When he arrived at the reception, they refused him to let him in the bedroom. He had to wait for me at the swimmingpool (he enjoyed it though, but felt a bit unwelcome). He left the message at the reception for me so that I know where to find him. When I arrived, I asked at the gate if someone arrived for the booking I've made - the answer was no. At the reception, I asked if my partner arrived, same answer - no. The receptionnist asked me to pay the balance before to get my key. I checked in and saw my partners luggage in the room brought by the room service - despite they said that nobody came for the room... The room is nice looking, but some issues : The ceiling lamps are flashing, we didn't have hot water the first evening, the generator was just outside our window, so a bit noisy when loadshedding, but the worse was the delivery truck, the laundry truck and the big tourist bus trying to make their way and waiting in front of our window with the motor on on Saturday morning (noise and fumes...). The breakfast was good. I enjoyed my price, but if I had to pay the full amount, I would have been crossed.

I'm curious why Chinese tourists don't comment on Ctrip. I stayed for four nights and would like to share with you my objective experience of staying. The room is very small. Although the family room has been upgraded, there are two small beds in each of the two separate small rooms, which basically takes up the room space. The facilities are a bit old. Although the faucet and hardware are Hansgrohe, and the toilet is also a famous brand, they are still a bit old and cannot be compared with domestic hotels of the same price. After talking about the bad points, let’s talk about the highlights: the breakfast is very good, with a variety of varieties, and the service is in place. The restaurant is on the other side of the hotel, you need to pass through the Business School of the University of Cape Town, and you can see the Victoria Pier. The location is also very convenient: it is convenient for eating, shopping, and sightseeing. It feels like it is on the edge of the business district, suitable for walking and shopping.

It is a 20-minute drive from Cape Town Airport and a half-hour drive from Table Mountain. The location of the hotel is called Cape Town Lover Slope. It is a great place to watch the night view of Cape Town. No view of each room in the hotel. Checked in this hotel several times. But the breakfast was average and a bit expensive. Less than 5km away from the hotel, there is a small shopping mall with Thai food and delicious. There is a supermarket. Don't worry about eating. There is also Chinese food nearby, but it is hard to find. A little bit far. Of course the room did not say clean, the windows are two-story soundproofing. A row of rooms near the highway. The scenery is better.
