As soon as my friend and I, we were welcomed with smiles and positive vibes. The workers working at the front desk, especially Freda (I called her Big Freda) was the loveliest person to talk to. Very helpful, humorous and a motherly figure. She deserves a raise and she was the best part of my stay. The room is also really beautiful, but they very strict. No guests after 9pm. But an amazing stay nonetheless. Thanks Big Freda!

Really nice newly renovated hotel in the centre of town. Would highly recommend the superior room which is clean, well finished, and a good size. The staff and breakfast were also very good.

The services at the hotel were great, the breakfat buffet in the morning were delicious and we had thoroughly enjoyed it

The hotel is located practically in the city center. It's newly built and has an elevator. Most rooms overlook Table Mountain. Breakfast is served from 7 to 10 a.m. and is somewhat repetitive, but plentiful. The room has plenty of electrical outlets and table lamps.

The hotel staff were great; they allowed us a late check-in and prepared breakfast for our early check-out. We also used the laundry service, which left our clothes clean and tidy. They cleaned every day, refilling our bottles with fresh drinking water, complimentary gingerbread cookies, and marmalade.

9 on Barrack is a fabulous place to stay! Clean rooms and very comfortable. The staff are excellent, friendly and efficient. I am a disabled pensioner and I was treated very well! Thank you for a lovely stay! I would recommend 9 on Barrack anytime ❣️

A staff member opened my room door in the middle of the night while I was inside. This is a serious safety and privacy breach. The hotel apologised but downplayed it, saying nothing was stolen and offering only a complimentary breakfast. That response alone would make me not stay here again.
