My honest feedback: Convenient downtown location, although you’ll likely end up relying on Uber for most of your trips anyway. The setup feels more like renting someone’s apartment than staying in a hotel, so the quality can vary from unit to unit. In my case, there was no chain lock on the door and no shower toiletries provided.
The bed had definitely seen better days, and the front desk staff could improve their customer service. If you stay here, I’d recommend requesting a room on the higher floors and away from the street to minimize noise. That said, noise isn’t just from outside—you may still hear it within the building.
On the plus side, if you’re lucky, you might get a room facing Table Mountain, which offers a great view.
Overall, it’s fine for a short stay of one or two nights. As a bonus (or part of the adventure), I also dealt with a few mosquitoes in the room.
