We were never informed that there is construction going on. We arrived in our room to find a huge crane blocking our ocean view. Hotel staff tried to charge us to change rooms and refused to refund our room so we could leave. Front desk could not give the name of a manager to call.We have been coming here for 10 years a few time a year. Never coming back.

Wonderful hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Friendly staff. The front area is being renovated, pool and lawn, did not interfere with our stay. Restaurant and bar also under rennovation. This is my go to when in Cape May.

Hotel/facilities were in very nice condition. Lobby, hallway and common area were immaculate. The room seemed newly renovated and quite nice. Kitchenette with refrigerator, dishes, flatware, were added bonuses. Bath had a rainfall water-head which was great. Terrace with ocean view and furniture was a nice touch. Thank You!!!

This is a lovely property with comfortable and clean rooms. a little out of the hustle and bustle, but right across from a beautiful beach! We would definitely stay again!

From the time I walked into the lobby, it felt warm and inviting. The receptionist gave a genuine smile and checked to see if our room was ready, we were pretty early. We were allowed to check in and were in awe of our room. We had a side view of the ocean and beach. Absolutely gorgeous hotel room and very comfortable bed!

We love La Mer and stay there throughout the year. Service is great and the rooms are very comfortable. We didn’t get there this trip but the restaurant, Pier House, is a must for breakfast and dinner.

Close to the beach, everything was great, but coffee machine wasn’t working, that’s our only complaint.
