We knew our flight arrived in Porto Alegre too late to go ”up” to Gramado, so we stayed one night. We called the hotel to call for a shuttle, which picks guests up at the same place of the rental car vans. That worked well. However, I noticed the front desk serves as guest service also, so sometimes it takes long for someone to answer the phone - which happened when we requested something. The team is attentive, though not exuberant - but it's more of a business hotel in style, so that's OK. During this brief stay, when we requested extra pillows. then help with the safe and even later some extra sheets, all were brought very quickly. The shower is very nice & the bathroom amenities are of the expected quality, though nothing to rave about too much - the bathroom door is at a slightly odd angle, but what just caught my attention negatively was the squeaky door to the shower stall - but no biggie, just a detail. Beds are OK, but more importantly, the accoustical isolation really worked well - I mean, our window was to one of the runways. TV has some limited channels and not much in the English language (CNN was the one I noticed as an exception). Even the movie channels apparently only in Portuguese - though maybe I just didn't find how to reverse to the original language. Breakfast is fine and served quite early, which I like (starts at 5 am on weekdays - so it works well for early flights). However, don't arrive too late - my daughter, who woke up much later than I, wasn't able to get waffles, which had run out more than 1 hour before the end of service. The omelette I ordered with lots of cheese was tasty, but the local cake (called cuca) was a bit drier than I think it should be. Something that one doesn't see much where I live in Brazil - blackberry - was fresh, though not too sweet. The lobby has a lot of different seating areas, books to read or just look at, and maybe because of that, neither it, nor the adjoining eating area has sufficient sockets to charge one's phone or laptop. I didn't actually ask - maybe they were hidden - so maybe I'm wrong on that count. There is a very nice eating area nearby, Boulevard Laçador, with very nice options for dinner - though it seems that the hotel's chefs actually prepare some good meals. We didn't stay long enough to confirm as we went out to a very good Thai restaurant.

If you travel for fun, then the price and the enviromento is fine.But if you travel for business, this is one of the worst hotel I have experience, the receptionist has really bad atitude, they dont speak english and they descriminate foreigners. Second, they dont know how to make an invoice correctly with the CNPJ. They misspelled the name or not putting the whole adress correctly. And when i ask to change, they complain and give a bad atittude. I will not reserve this hotel for any of my clientes anymore. If the hotel wants to grow, the receptionists need to receive proper training once in a while. But

The hotel is just opposite the Alegre Port bus stop. It is especially suitable for passengers in transit. It is known that there are no trains in Brazil. Long-distance buses are the main means of transportation from the state capital to the cities in various regions. There are some clocks in the lobby that look like some ages and look very good. The reception English at the front desk was not bad in Brazil, and the service was very warm. The room is neat and tidy. Breakfast is on the back of the three-way, more typical Brazilian breakfast.

I had been hosting at Hotel Plaza São Rafael several times, and I like the hotel to the memory of his love and the city of Porto Alegre since I was a child. However, at this last occasion I found several indices of a reversal in the quality of the hosting, and the staff in general, very heartily and well trained, but some others, clearly without vocation for the hotel industry. In the last place I stayed in a very old room and needed a pension, the bathroom boxing, unexplainedly, was located at the highest point of the floor, causing water accumulation and extravagation outside the boxing at each bathroom. Very uncomfortable dressers. When you arrived at the hotel and until the next day, the card recording system for accessing apartments was not working, which required you to go to the reception every time you were absent to attend a staff member to accompany you until the The hotel was a very good hotel, and the hotel was a good hotel. I had to carry out some emergency procedures in Porto Alegre and I really am glad to have chosen this hotel to host me, because the rooms are very large, clean and with much privacy to rest, Something that is very appreciated for a person who usually travels quite. In addition, I must emphasize in particular the attention they have to the customer, because when I asked for information on how to get to certain places, they not only indicated me how to get safely, but also how to get fastest, Taking the time needed to make sure **** that I understand, I would like to emphasize in particular Sandro, who very kindly explained everything with detail. Stayed at Intercity Gravitai for a few weeks and the overall service was superb. Food was great, and the staff were all super friendly and accomodating. I will miss their welcoming smiles and attentiveness. Special shout out to Diorge, David, Camila and Dion at icafe, and also to Claudic who cleaned my room everyday and made sure I was comfortable. We had an cancellation of flight in Caxias do Sul, at 16/10/2023, and the airline LATAM, travelled us to Porto Alegre and hosted us at almost 30 km from the airport. We arrived at the hotel, around 21h. there was only one official to allocate about 30 people from a microbus. The company also released the consumption for dinner at Room Service, requests for me and for two more rooms travelling with me. The request was made by us at 21:37. It was a hamburger that arrived at 0h in my room, a soup and a salad that arrived in my sister's room at 1:47 and two sandwiches in another apartment of a friend couple, who received about 1:40 too. We were going out of the hotel at 3 p.m. to get the flight in time, that is, we could not even sleep or eat right. The apartment was good, but the service experience was scary not for the staff who were there, but for the lack of management planning to ensure when they accept such requests, have sufficient staff to meet the demand for peak moments.

Relatively new hotel which is kept in excellent condition. Rooms have lovely views and breakfast is excellent, although 1 day of the 5 we stayed they did struggle a little to keep up with demand. Best part: The pool! Great to finally have a outdoor pool with a view in the city! They do need to have some umbrellas though as it is South facing and the sun is relentless. Especially a concern with young children. Also the floor in the pool area is extremely slippery when you have wet feet. There is also a top quality shopping mall on site with some fabulous food choices. Staff were very good indeed! My only gripe was they ran out of English Breakfast Tea Bags so I had no tea for the last 2 days... but that's my own fault for being English!
