I didn't stayed at a room with nice view, but the hotel operate small terrace on the first floor served with champagne(on-charge). Rooptop terrace was closed for the some duration, so that I could not visit.
Breakfast was good though, even though the service staffs looks somewhat less professional. They, however, are very kind.
In general, nice visit and stay in Cannes. Thanks.
The lady in the breakfast restaurant is such an amazing person, he praised the smartphone case, talked to Nico Nico and enjoyed it. The breakfast itself is of course delicious. Japanese fruits are usually better, but sweet and delicious! ! There are also good brands of black tea and herbal tea. Come out る You can relax on the private beach in front of you, and you are also close to shopping from the back door of P. There is also a supermarket. The facility is Bulgari, slippers are soft and fluffy ☆ No toothbrush (No other places in France.) If you ask me for your Wi-Fi password and try to enter the room, you need an ID and it is not connected (´ ;ω;`) When listening to the story, the same pass and ID will be entered! If you tell me at the beginning, you don't have to spend a lot of time, but this is the only benefit. We reached the front row by taxi, but the brother in the front row turned the car to the back P and took the luggage to the room. We went back a little bit on the way home, but it was not difficult. The location is very good and it is very convenient to participate in the exhibition. This time I came to Tfwa for many conferences, parties, catering and drinks, including cocktails on the beach. There were many people and it was very popular.

The room was clean, quiet, and the sun was shining into the bed, very comfortable. Walk 8 minutes from the beach and 15 minutes from the train station. It takes a little far to go to the Avenue of Stars in30-40 minutes.
Although the hotel is 4 stars, it is not worse than five stars. The hotel is very new and the facilities are very good, especially the location, very close to the commercial street. To the south is the luxury sector, and to the north is the catering shopping street. It is also easy to go to the Movie Palace, 3 minutes walk. There are also delicious Chinese restaurants around. Suitable for vacation and business. Will choose here next time.
I had an excellent stay at Hotel Colette. It is the perfect location in the centre of everything - directly across the street from the major Cannes train station, in the heart of the shopping district and a very short walk, minutes away, from Croisette beach and other attractions. Convenient and safe area. Hotel receptionists Yann and Vanessa are the best! All of the reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I truly enjoyed my time there and look forward to returning again. --LV, July 2023
We stayed at Yelo Hotel in Cannes by Sonder on June 25th and were absolutely blown away by the exceptional service. Our family had been traveling through Paris and the French Riviera for about 2.5 weeks, and unfortunately, we encountered mostly rude and indifferent service from locals and other establishments. However, the staff at Yelo Hotel in Cannes were a refreshing exception! From the moment we arrived, the night manager or receptionist welcomed us with a warm smile and a willingness to help, despite us arriving a day early and without a place to stay. While other hotels in Cannes wouldn't even unlock their doors, the staff at Yelo Hotel went out of their way to guide us to our rooms, parking, and assist with our numerous bags. Their genuine hospitality was a breath of fresh air. The next morning, the breakfast service staff continued to impress us. One lady explained everything on offer and convinced us to try the special dish created by the chef. Every day, they strive to offer something unique and special, and it truly made our breakfast experience unforgettable. The chef was humble and delighted to see us enjoying our meal. Even when we were running late for breakfast, the service staff went above and beyond by keeping the breakfast items out for us and even came to our room to ask if we still wanted to come down or if she could keep anything for us. Wow! During our checkout, the receptionist made us feel completely at home as we waited in the reception area. At no point did we feel rushed or pressured to leave, and we were treated with true hospitality throughout our stay. Our experience at Yelo Hotel was so positive that it overshadowed our subsequent stay at a competitor so-called 4-star apartment hotel, Nemea, just 150 meters away, which turned out to be a disaster. I will leave a separate review for them and their establishment later this week. To the management and staff of Yelo by Sonder, thank you for your exceptional service. I apologize for not remembering all your names, but I am confident that the management team will pass on our gratitude. I can see that the team form the top down is exceptional! You know who you are, and we are in awe of your dedication. Wherever I travel internationally, Sonder Hospitality will be my first choice! Thank you again for an unforgettable stay!

Very good experience, very close to the train station, the seaside, the supermarket, the hotel has an old elevator, you can see in the old movie, there is a waiter who will speak a little Chinese, very friendly.
The staff at this hotel is beyond belief, they go over and above whatever is necessary to help their guests. There is Alex the Absolute Awesome miracle worker; Chloe the Caring & Concerned; Nathan the Nicest young man ever; Ama’lie the Very Helpful; and, Mirana the one who guides the amazing crew she has put together. Even the kitchen and staff personnel are exceptional. I would recommend this hotel to anyone based on the staff alone.

OOlgaThe hotel made a good impression with its modern design and polite staff, which created a positive mood. However, expectations were not met. For such a price, no robes, slippers, or basic toiletries were provided. Had to go to the reception, where they only gave slippers and shower caps. The breakfast was standard, surprised by the completely tasteless omelette. We chose this hotel solely based on our experience of staying at a hotel of this chain in Bangkok, heaven and earth. The last two days, the keys to the room were constantly blocked, which caused inconvenience. In general, the hotel service does not correspond to the level of 4 stars and does not justify its price.
YYolo123Everything was ok except our air conditioning didnt work after technician came to fix it started making ticking sound… ruined our night sleep they gave us an extra room to sleep in so we dont have to move our things in the middle of the night…. After we came back to our old room in the morning the ac was off again not functioning… also the bathroom was extremely small you have to walk on your side to get in

GGuest UserI was excited to return to Hotel Splendid after staying every January for the music festival for 10 years between 2002 and 2012. The hotel staff are still as polite and friendly, especially the bar manager. There has been some nice upgrades, the breakfast room changes into a bar from 5pm, and the bedding is of a good quality, but the rest is a little tired. Our room 208 was large, had a great view and small balcony, but the smallest bathroom I’ve ever been in and a separate WC. We had big issues with sewage smells from the separate WC, and on our second night it was so bad we asked the hotel night Manger if he could move us, which unfortunately he couldn’t, the hotel was full. I made the night manager come into our room so he could experience the foul smell we were having the injure, and he was disgusted. On check out the hotel manager looked at us when we complained as if it was acceptable to be sleeping in a room with a terrible raw sewage smell, all they would do is comp the breakfast. So to summarise, we would NEVER stay at this hotel again. And we would advise you not to pay in advance for your stay if you can, so that if you have this awful sewage smell you have a little more to bargain with, and if they can’t change your room, then move out of the hotel, there are many other options around you. The hotel management could have given us a lot better service this morning, and this review would have been slightly better, shame on you Hotel Splendid.

GGuest UserMy partner and I stayed here for a couple nights during my interrailing trip. The location of this hotel is perfect. It is a 2 min walk to the train station and about a 5 min walk to the beach. There are also lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and had great customer service! We arrived early but was able to check our bags in and headed out. Again, when we arrived back to the hotel late at night the male night reception was super friendly! Great customer service! However, on checkout the lady at reception was very rude. We overheard her ask for 40 cent more from the couple in front of us as the hotel had charged them wrong. And then without even saying hello she stated that we owe money. We had paid in full on arrival so was confused and asked why. She stated that the gentleman who checked us in had not calculated it right and that we owed €2. As this had happened to the people in front of us as well we felt it was wrong of them to be asking every customer for the extra money if it was the hotel at fault. She became very abrupt and said “will you not pay it then”. Obviously we weren’t bothered about the €2 but it was the way we were being spoken to considering it was the hotel at fault. Perhaps staff training in customer service is needed for this individual as well as training in basic numerical skills. Overall, I don’t want to leave a terrible review as it was only that one lady who treated us very badly and was very rude. All the other staff were amazing and went above and beyond! So yes I would recommend this hotel to those who are looking for a cheap stay in Cannes with the perfect location! Just disappointed in the bad ending!
Fantastic location (less than 5 minutes to the beach), very friendly staff, and the room was immaculate. However, the shower in the room had very bad water pressure and the water was cold after 30 seconds. Additionally, after using the coffee machine water was pouring out of the side. That being, said I would definitely stop again as the positives outweighed the negatives.
AAnonymous UserThe staff at reception were really friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice and well located. Only 5 mins walk to the train station and 10 mins walk to the beach. The studio could be a bit better equipped for cooking. There is a hob but no pans. Fortunately for us the fridge and microwave were enough. Very quiet for sleeping at night time. Would recommend to stay here!
GGuest UserLocated in a parallel behind the long sea and next to the Carlton hotel.
Clean, with all the comforts and a swimming pool and spa, that if there are not many people is very pleasant. Not a great beautiful view but safe a advantage to have it.
GGuest UserFirst of all, up to 5 stars of the hotel lacked a convenient location of the roses on the sides of the bed (one was at the bed and the other near the entrance).
The rest of the hotel is good. It was warm in the room, the air conditioner worked constantly for heating. The room was clean as in the photo on the Internet.
The bathroom was new, with fresh repair. We were provided with additional hygiene.
There is a staircase and an elevator in the hotel. To get to the rooms you have to walk through the breakfast room and climb up the other staircase above.
The concierge usually sits in the breakfast room, but as a crowd to someone comes - immediately approaches the entrance. Very polite all, we were able to leave the bags to the receptacle after the eviction. When entering the boarding house, they asked for a document - they took the driver's license instead of a passport without problems.
I asked for a room with the balcony, but it wasn 't as we were told, but we got the French balcony - beautiful !!!
The view was on the city, good.
Aadventurelover1990If this hotel was rated as a very good 3* hotel and therefore guest expectations were that of a 3* you'd likely be very happy. Having stayed in dozens of 4* hotels all over, this one doesn't quite match up. We are perfectly aware Cannes is not a cheap area and felt we did take this into account but it still felt expensive for what it is. The staff were very pleasant and did rectify the small issue of us having no shower curtain upon check-in, which meant water was literally flooding the bathroom when we took a shower. The rooms are perfectly clean although very small. The pool area was lovely although do note that the road noise means it is fine for a few days but probably not for a longer relaxing holiday. The sunbeds look nice but aren't adjustable therefore aren't particularly comfortable! Thankfully there are a few very comfy chairs around the pool which we took advantage of. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but we did enjoy visiting the local bakery each morning for a coffee and food (would recommend this). All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and the location is excellent, it just didn't quite live up to the standards we've experienced elsewhere.
