Beautiful location. Splash pool and sauna unfortunately still not ready when we visited. Other services great though. Good selection of bars. In general good selection of food although we found the different restaurant a bit disappointing; it was mostly the same food as the buffet, only presented nicely. Apart from the check in where the reception kept accusing us of booking the wrong room for a family (we didn’t) generally great service.

Was pretty happy to book this resort knowing that not all facilities were available and having experienced the splendour of Madeira in Funchal last year wanted to as a couple experience all inclusive for the first time. I would like to say all the staff especially in Cocoa cafe, The Desire sports bar and the Steak Restaurant were superb and would flourish in any hotel/resort. The coffee/food was also excellent and the chocolates a delight. However the reason for only 4 stars is the buffet. It was without doubt the worst I have ever experienced. The breakfast was always cold even when it was replenished. The bacon was akin to plastic and the omelettes shrivelled. After my first visit I stuck to a few pancakes and pastries each time and ventured to get a decent cup of coffee in the cafe. The staff were trying their hardest under the circumstances when at times it reminded me of peak time on a motorway with staff and holidaymakers barging into each other which was a health and safety concern. I did have a look at the meals available during lunch and dinner, but if it was not for the other eating establishments, I would have starved. In my opinion everything looked unappetising and inedible, a feeling shared by many during my break. This particular restaurant needs direction and I dread to think what will happen when the resort is at full capacity as it was only 50% on my break. Come on management get this buffet up to standard and get the full 5☆ rating the staff fully deserve.

We stayed in March 2025 for a short break to escape the gloomy UK weather. Given the reasonable price, we weren’t expecting much—but we were in for a surprise! The service was nothing short of exceptional, with the staff treating us like royalty. On top of that, the hotel was spotless. A truly fantastic experience!

Excellent service, lovely food, beautiful resort and relaxing massage. I visited with my husband and we had a brilliant time, much better than we could have hoped. Thank you to all the staff at the resort - they could not have been more friendly and helpful. A particular mention to Katrina who did my massage and all the staff on the coffee shop.

Great potential but not quite ready. Most of the staff were brilliant, the decor in the main building is really good. The rooms are a mixed bag. We had to move twice to get a suitable room which was frustrating given we were meant to be in a "preferred" room and the first one we were given was basically in a basement with no natural light and workers at the end of the corridor smoking. Everything was eventually sorted out but it took hours for them to prepare an alternative room even though the resort was clearly quite empty.

Very kindly staff, perfect👍. They bring’me back to my room after the massage with a clubCar. Nice massage, short (25mn) but efficient! Nice place to stay few hours. Dreams Madeira il really a dream ! Cery good staff everywhere in the resort !

First time at this hotel and hopefully not the last. Upon arriving we had a very warm welcome from Artur, who checked us in, taking time to explain the layout of the hotel and escorted us to our room, what a great first impression and start to our holiday. All the staff we encountered were friendly and hard working, a shout out to Mariana & Michelle on reception, Smile at the Flip Flop, Joy who brought us drinks on the sun beds and Alwin in the cocktail bar, apologies if I have spelt any names incorrectly or not mentioned you, you all made our holiday memorable, thank you. The hotel is beautiful and clean with plenty of areas to find peace and quiet. Food was mostly good quality, especially at the sea front bar Voce, the tuna skewers were yum, but the highlight of the holiday was the valentines meal in Sabor, beautiful menu, great atmosphere (even though the weather didn't help) and a lovely surprise, well done to all who made it happen. I would suggest an area for improvement would be the breakfast experience which on occasion was chaotic! the replenishment of food not fast enough to meet the demands and people wandering round looking for something to eat, it would be nice if this could be addressed with a Preferred Club breakfast restaurant, which would release some of the pressure from the world buffet, just a thought. On the whole, a great break and we are looking forward to returning.
