Wyndham Grand Cancun All Inclusive Resort & Villas

The rooms are well-equipped, and the sea-view rooms offer direct sunrise views. However, the hotel has too many restaurants that require reservations, and there's only one restaurant for regular dinners, which slightly detracts from the overall experience.

Facilities: All the usual amenities are available. Cleanliness: Not cleaned thoroughly enough. Environment: Overall, quite okay. Service: Mexicans are generally quite rigid in their work. The hotel's location is in the middle of a "7," a prime area for ocean views. We booked an ocean view room, and the view was excellent, with a wide expanse of sea. For dinner, we tried the Italian, Mexican, and La Vista restaurants, all requiring reservations. We frequented the Italian restaurant the most, ordering two servings of raw marinated beef as an appetizer, and two servings of shrimp and steak as main courses. (The shrimp at this hotel was of good quality and all shelled and deveined, something I haven't experienced at other hotels.) The swimming pools are all visible from the Caribbean Sea, but the sun's UV rays are very strong. More shade in the pools would be helpful. Finally, taking good photos requires luck. Sun, few clouds, and no seaweed are essential to see the most beautiful colors of the Caribbean Sea, especially the Cancun blue. Today we're leaving the hotel. Overall, we're quite satisfied. After Cancun, there's no more ocean view.

Overall it's OK. The staff is very enthusiastic, but the front desk female staff needs to be trained. Some facilities near the pool require extra payment, the business model is quite heavy, some restaurants need to be booked in advance, and it is often impossible to make an appointment, and the buffet food is the same every day, which needs improvement. The natural landscape of the sea is really beautiful. We went there in mid-August and were lucky to see turtles coming ashore to give birth. The hotel staff also distributed the hatched turtles to the children for collective release, which is quite meaningful.
