Fantastic property in terms of commons areas. The rooms are pretty outdated and have an adjoining room which feels very unsafe. The pool and beach and breakfast is very good. If I was to give rating in terms of rooms no more than 3 star common areas are a 5 out of 5.

The best experience ever this hotel is outstanding and the beach in the back is amazing, you need to see the color of this water, super clean and light green. The sound of the waves all the time is very relax early in the morning you will see the sun in your balcony , the beach area is amazing , the pool area is very nice they have 2 jacuzzi , the people in the hotel area is very quite , you have a lot of restaurants you need to come I recommend taboo restaurant next to the hotel and the supermarket and mall this hotel is 5 start really.the room have a bathtub and shower and two sink , I really love my trip in Cancun I recommend to rent a car to go to others beach and go to Tulum beach and restaurant

The Hyatt Ziva in Cancun is one of those hotels I will go to endless times. First, there are 2 buildings inside the hotel. The adult-only high-rise floor is equipped with an infinity pool on the top floor. An access card is required for the entrance to the lobby, which provides good privacy. The family room can accommodate children and is divided into two types of rooms, the dolphin room and the sea view room. I went to the hotel front desk to upgrade to the dolphin room for 1 night (additional US$100). The floor-to-ceiling glass door opens to the dolphin area. There are six dolphins in total, and you can interact with the dolphins. Taking pictures is $100 for children who can take pictures independently, and $200 for two people who need to be accompanied by adults to enter the pool for 30 minutes. It is worth the experience. Personally, I think the sea view room is better. When you open the large floor-to-ceiling glass door, you can see the endless jelly sea. It is also quieter than the dolphin room. You can go to the dolphin area to see dolphins at any time, so the dolphin room is of little significance. Second, I ate at all eight restaurants in the hotel. My husband and I have stayed here 3 times, after we fly into Cancun, and before we start our actual vacation each year. I highly recommend booking a room in advance. It's the best way to get the kind of room you want, and at a reasonable price. Also less expensive to book through Trip Advisor, or another booking company. If you book through Hampton Inn, it'll cost more.

Bait and switch masters. Given the fact that this is a very popular resort, management obviously feels entitled to provide the service they deem minimally sufficient in order to maximize profits. My wife and I unknowingly made reservations for a takeover four day weekend. The group doing the takeover had their own events either away from the resort or in specific areas of the resort with no access available to the other guests. I had no issue with that fact given that they paid extra for their events. The fact that the group had over 80% of the rooms reserved resulted in the events organized for the rest of the guests, having next to no attendance, the club was dead every night we were there. The takeover group was very friendly and we had no issues with them. We didn’t see them very much. I requested a transfer to another one of their resorts but Adrian Guevara, supervisor on duty for Premier member services, was unwilling to transfer us unless I paid current prices for those resorts. I made my reservation for temptation ten months ago and even then, the rooms were far from inexpensive. I was not willing to pay more to be transferred. Mr Guevara was rude and the furthest thing from service oriented. Though the entertainment staff tried to improve the atmosphere, the playmakers were for the most part, the only ones on the dance floor every night we were there. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

something terrible I was with my husband for 3 days, unfortunately it was not possible to cancel the booking, air conditioning on the floors does not work the hotel in the lobby looks great if you go to the 1st or 2nd floor it smells so damp that you can't stand the smell, the same smell is in the room . saving on air conditioning they spoiled the whole beautiful hotel as carpets, curtains and furniture dragged with damp.Our first room smelled so bad that it was impossible to sleep in it, on the second day we got a second room with a fridge full of sand and hair, sand in the bathroom, we didn't have any more strength to admonish, we just left the hotel the next morning. If you land in Mexico early in the morning forget you will get a room for 3 even if it's vacant and your status is titanium.At breakfast there were no plates of coffee cups, point 10 they even took water which is insane at these temperatures. very low level of service! ar the hotel really and the rooms are beautiful! It's just a pity that the staff doesn't know how to take care of it! Staff very rude!

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights and every day and night of it was super fantastic! Great location,overlooking a gorgeous beach!The food was varied and delicious and the waiting staff couldn't be more helpful! Always smiling!All the staff at this hotel were amazing! You can get involved with yoga on the beach with Mar,and she is an amazing teacher! There is beach volleyball and water basket with Christian,paddleboarding with veronike and pool spinning also!Frédéric is fab aswell at pool games and all of the animation team do a superb show everyone.All the staff at this hotel work extremely hard to ensure the guests have fun! The rooms are a good size and are kept really clean.There is entertainment every evening which is also fantastic!We ,a family of 2 adults and our 2 eenage kids would definitely go back again.An amazing holiday ..Thank you Aquamarina Barcelo!

I had a fairly okay experience here but compared to the other hotels I've stayed in cancun this takes the bottom. Check in at the hotel desk are long, hotel room is tiny and you can hear sounds from the other room next to you and there was also construction going on so noise was an issue and hotel rooms bath room doesn't have an air ventilation systems so all your business stays in the restroom. Also considering this has a party beach outside, this hotel is not for people that enjoy the quiet side of life. It's difficult to sleep at night when there's a party outside past midnight. The only upside is if you pay for the all inclusive package your meals are covered that's the awesome part they have got a good buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. That's the only thing that made me and my family happy for staying at this hotel.

The location of the hotel is really good, it’s close to the zona hotelera yet it’s still in downtown Cancun, it’s really close to the ADO bus station, which will allow you to take a bus to the airport or to visit other cities at a very cheap price, The hotel looks a bit older than what appears on the pictures online, I visited 4 hotels while in Cancun and this one was the worst in télé of cleanliness, it doesn’t mean that it was dirty, but it’s definitely worst than what you can find in Cancun The breakfast is not bad, the pool is great, the staff is friendly, The decorative style of the hotel looked a bit outdated and it was all over the place, it didn’t feel very coherent to me, which left a bad visual impression over all But the location of the hotel is really great, you have buses going to all sort of places just at your doorstep, that’s a great way to save on transportation, cause taxi fees can quickly add up !
