Good position in the centre of the village. Excellent bars within the hotel. We were half board and food was good an excellent selection which you had to order the day before .Something different each day. Our room was compact but lots of storage and very clean and warm.

Schloss Hotel Dolomiti is centrally located in Canazei, right in the shops and a short walk to the ski lifts. An historic hotel built in 1904, the hotel and furnishings are spacious and elegant. As an Australian visiting the Dolomites for the first time the experience has been fantastic, the staff are very friendly and the food with lots of different options including traditional recipes from the local area as well as pizza I couldn’t have asked for more. The ski area is huge and very well suited to all levels of skiers. The scenery and mountains including the famous mountain known as the marmolada are jaw dropping beautiful. At the end of a day skiing, the spa including jacuzzis, saunas and steam room were very relaxing! I would highly recommend the hotel Dolomiti for your next ski trip. You will not be disappointed 😀

I stayed at the Hotel Dolomiti Schloss for one night when driving through the Dolomites and it made for a handy base for the night. I was given a room on arrival early evening but there was so much noise through an adjoining door from the people bundling in and being loud in the next room that I asked to move which reception arranged. The car parking is around the back of the hotel in the general parking area along the street and you are given a slip of paper to put in the car indicating you are staying at the hotel and no need to pay for parking. Depending where the room is the hotel is a bit of a labyrinth of corridors but all in all was ok for one night. I had a booking with breakfast which was served in a large restaurant which was quite busy and the food was fine with a good selection.

Went with a group of friends. The hotel is a bit of a maze. This meant a a long walk downstairs before going up stairs to get to the room. Twin bed rooms had been booked but on arrival at the room we discovered the "twin beds" were next to each other with no space, effectively a double bed. There was no option to move them apart. As I was sharing with another make this was awkward. I eventually used the much smaller occasional bed ( probably a child's bed), not what I had expected given the price. Otherwise the hotel was clean, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was reasonable with usual buffet breakfast and a choice in the evening. Hotel was situated an About 10 min walk from the Gondola, ski depot was a bit chaotic, allocated spaces for skis but not boots and there were not enough drying spaces for everyone's boots. The hotel has the Kaiserkeller on the bottom floor, this emptied out into the street below our room at 2am. The resulting noise woke us most nights. One couple we met had a room just above this bar and it was so noisy they demanded to be moved. I would think twice about using this hotel again.

This hotel should be avoided if you want an edible meal. Breakfast is ok but honestly 4 of us are here right now and no one can eat this food . Rooms fine, hotel so lovely so it’s very sad that the chefs let the place down. Sickly undercooked, what can I say! Stay away !

This is a really great hotel in the centre of Canazei. We are staying via Crystal for a ski holiday. The staff are excellent. The buffet breakfast is very good too. Likewise dinner is great with a choice of 4 starters 4 mains and buffet deserts.

Good location, but definitely not a four star hotel. I don’t know how they got their four stars..! The rooms were very average/basic. No refrigerator in my room, 211. The worst was the food. Breakfast ok, but the “3/4 course” dinners were very dull. No flavour, and the same rather cheap foodstuff. The school were I work serve tastier meals!

Thought that choosing a 4 star good looking hotel from the picture would give us a perfect stay on a skiing week in Canazei even though it was not close to the lift. But we were dissapointed for several reasons. But what we liked first 1. The rooms has a good size even the room for a single person. The beds are good and firm (to our liking) and god for longer persons and the duvets are larger than normal and nice. The cleaning of the room is good and nothing to complain about. The breakfast has a lot of different choices that we liked. Eggs you can boil yourself, scrampled eggs, various selection of bread, some though was fast emptied. But ingeneral almost everything you would like to eat in the morning. And coffee from only 1 machine that has many different choices, it took forever and was almost queued all the time, and you could only get water for tea from the same machine. The dinner (if you booked half pension) seemed to good too, even though there was several dishes that we didn't like, but most other guests liked it, so it was a matter of our taste. You get a starter which is not mentioned on the menu , then a first course and a second course. And you have 4 different choices on 1 st and 2nd course and can even choose a small dish of both. But you have to make those choices the day before. You can also service yourself with various vegetables. And then there is a huge dessert table, which often was partly emptied if you came a little late. They have a good selection of Italiian wines to decent prices. You can buy a buscard that covers the whole area in the hotel at a discounted price €9 compare to the official price €14. Now to what we didn't like The building as such needs updating. It might have been 4 star when it was build, but now we would rate it at most as a 3 star. Many decorations needs to be changed or updated in our view. The hotel management choose when the heating should be on and thus it is on from 7.00 to 10.00 am and from approx 16.00 to 18.30 and then again from approx 20 - 22.00 pm. During the night it is turned OFF and it could be very cold in the room and the walls was cold as was the bathroom during the night. If you pay for a room you should be able to choose when you want the heating on, so we were not happy. The ski cellar in 2,5 fioors under the ground floor and is tricky get up from as you have to go up a driveway that goes from the street down to the car parking cellar. It wqas show free when we were thee, but we believe that many will have a problem going up and down that driveway. Depending on which room you get, you might have problems with sleeping af under the hotel is a bar/discoteque, whihc you can acces from inside of the hotel. But the noise is terrible if you get a room on top of it. And some guests told us that they had a room to the back side and was awakened by the garbage men. WE could not get the code to the ski cellar, due to security the manager said, but had to push a bott
