BG Tonga Tower

We had a fantastic time at Tonga Towers! Room was clean and spacious with welcome chocolate, robe and slippers. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful throughout our while stay. It has nice facilities, as it was still a little cold we used the indoor spa pool, sauna and steam room which were lovely though not very big. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice, though can get a little busy with coach parties but the staff worked so hard to make sure that food is constantly topped up. Amazing rooftop bar/terrace with view over the bays. Overall we had a excellent stay! Thak you Tonga Towers!

Reserve with this hotel from 8 to 14 August, because of an error in the booking app or web did not appear my active reservation so I could not cancel what apparently did not exist, so, What is my surprise that on 9 August I get a €126 charge and they explain that if they appeared active, I will immediately comment on what happened and tell them I have a screen capture where they can confirm the reserves that are active and that their reserve is not active The hotel blames you for booking when you are the ones who have collected, ignore the evidence, nor want them to be sent and don't want to return the money. I feel ashamed that a hotel chain plays its reputation wanting to stay **** unfairly with users' money when it has been a computer error.

We was moved to this hotel as our original choice had closed early. We were so glad that we were as the hotel was lovely! Great location for the beach, restaurants and bars. There is a national park nearby that we went for a walk through and it is stunning. The staff are great here too, really friendly. We stayed AI and the food was good, my husband also enjoyed a few of the cocktails in the evening which were included. Will definitely look at returning next October half term.

It is a good hotel. But it has good and bad things, I suppose like everyone. The best food, everything very rich, well cooked, much variety, would be what would give you the highest score. The room is very good, clean, good bathroom, good terrace, air conditioning. The pool is very good too, there are always few people and has a jacuzzi-like screws, gives the sun in the afternoon. The hotel is very quiet and relaxing. The worst ... is made basic and exclusively for Germans, information in German, only German channels were seen on TV (we had to complain at reception that the Spanish channels will install us), The most bad of all dinner timelines from 18:30 to 21:00... too early and it's more, the room chief at 20:50 closed the dinner room and at 20:55 began to take the meal, unfortunately. I was making dinner with tension because you were waiting for not to be taken away from your food. The staff of the very majestic dining room, except the room boss. If not for this last, for me it could be 4 stars. With all this is a good hotel to spend your holidays.

We travelled as family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) in 2 twin rooms. The hotel was modern and clean in a great central location. 5 minute walk to beach. Rooms: Nice size, clean, good view of pool, lovely balcony, good selection of TV channels. Maid service every day. But... The rooms had an awful sewage smell when the air conditioning was on. Pools: 4 really good sized outdoor pools for all age groups but water very cold. Dirty and tired looking sunbeds. Ripped towels. There is an indoor pool for children plus an indoor pool / spa for over 16s. Food: Good selection but spolit by the fact both breakfast and evening meal food was cold. Not pleasant eating cold fried eggs and sausages. The glasses looked dirty. No English Breakfast tea bags so bought our own from the supermarket. The fruit is obviously out all night as it was dry. My son was given chicken which was raw in the middle. I complained and was disappointed not to receive an apology. We were also VERY disappointed about food labelling. Nothing to tell you what flavour the cakes or yoghurt or jam was. Just a gamble if it was a flavour you would enjoy. Plus, major point: No allergen info on anything. There is a small games room but the white ball was missing from the pool table and some machines out of order. You need 10 euro deposit to borrow table tennis rackets and ball. The reception staff were lovely, polite and friendly but the restaurant and bistro staff not so much. We had a nice break but would definitely not return.
