This was a very disappointing stay. The cleanliness of the room was clearly below standard. We found a cockroach in the room, and after informing the front desk, a staff member came to deal with it. However, shortly after, another cockroach appeared. This raises serious concerns about the overall hygiene and pest control of the property. We understand that front desk staff are not directly responsible, but situations like this point to broader issues in housekeeping and management. For the price paid, the level of cleanliness is simply not acceptable. Although we were eventually offered a room change, the overall handling of the situation did not feel adequate or reassuring. It did not reflect the level of professionalism expected at this price point. For those who are sensitive to hygiene, insects, or even potential rodent issues, I would strongly recommend reconsidering this property. Overall, this place may only be suitable for travellers who are looking for a very basic overnight stay and have low expectations regarding cleanliness.

The room was spacious with city view the one where we were staying during the trip. However, bed and towels changing wasn’t provided every day though and we run out of toilet papers in our last stays, luckily we brought our own. Buffets Breakfast in restaurants was great.

Glad we only stayed one night, the bathroom was not cleaned! It was absolutely disgusting! Then around 8:30am we got a knock on the door asking when we are leaving even though it states checkout is 10am. Do not recommend staying here

I found the staff very helpful & pleasant, rooms very clean and comfortable. Very accessible to restaurants, the city and surrounding areas. I wouldn’t have second thoughts with staying every time I travel to Sydney.

Rooms are spacious, not too clean but acceptable. There’s a nando’s right opposite the hotel and a short walk to catch the bus to broadway. But barely get any sleep due to the bad noice proof. You can hear people talk, walk, open the doors. And Almost every 2-3 hours I can hear something knocking…unsure why that happened.

The service was good, but lack of facilities and amenities, like no slipper etc. Hotel is old, very poor condition of kettle, but the housekeeping staff helped me to clean the rusty bottom part after few days.. Reception staffs are very helpful and friendly..

The hotel is conveniently located near both the University of Sydney and the University of Technology Sydney, with a Chinese supermarket nearby. Initially, there were cockroaches in the room, but thankfully the hotel promptly changed our room. The service was quite good.

Upon check-in, the front desk couldn't find our reservation. They spent what felt like an eternity, maybe half an hour, trying to sort it out on the computer while we just stood there, getting quite tired. I've never experienced anything like this before. Not sure if it's the hotel's system or Ctrip's fault. On the plus side, the hotel is conveniently located near the University of Sydney, making transportation easy. The Western breakfast was decent.

Very easy check in experience. The room was surprisingly spacious and the bed was comfortable. The carpark was not cheap at $35 per day but this is Sydney after all. The carpark was very pokey for our ute. The location is pretty good with good cafes nearby.

Clean and hygienic. The location is very convenient, close to the University of Sydney. It's only a 26-minute Didi ride from the airport. A great hotel, everything was superb except for the limited breakfast options.

Upon arrival the room smelled like stale cigarettes and stagnant water which was extremely unpleasant. I had to prop the door open with my suitcase to get fresh air in with the window open. I ended up going to the supermarket to buy carpet deodoriser and air freshener to get the smell out. I could still smell it when I left after 2 days. When I went to get into bed it was very obvious the bed had been slept in and the pillowcase had not been changed. I had to ***** the bed and make it with what was left over with the sheet that goes over the doona. I know it was NYE and paid over $600 a night for the room, but wasn’t expecting the room to not smell ok and have fresh linen.

I asked them for microwave because I had little one with me. But they didn’t provide. Staff was bit rude because I was but confused about lift how to use and staff member made faces because he had to come with to show it. Very unprofessional.. room was clean but carpet was stiniking
