Cam Ranh Mystery Villas & Resort

This is our second time renting a villa at this property, and we absolutely love everything about it. The houses are well-maintained and fully equipped with everything you could need, from all sorts of dishes to even salt, sugar, oil, and sauces. There's also an affordable and well-stocked snack buffet. The staff are incredibly friendly, always helpful, and always smiling. The grounds, though not huge, are meticulously kept. Besides the private pools, there's a complex of communal pools with kids' slides, sun loungers, and umbrellas. The beach is fantastic and also fully equipped. There's a kids' room, a good gym, and a small game room. I highly recommend this place to everyone; we'll definitely be back. P.S. I found there weren't enough towels because of the private pool, but it wasn't a huge issue. On our second trip, I brought my own towels for the pool.

Everything was great, this is our second time booking. Villa 0510. This time, we received a gift from the hotel. However, there were huge cockroaches in the villas and the pool water wasn't very clean.

Overall, I liked the villa. It has a kitchen, dishes, a comfortable bed, and a clean bathroom. The pool is decent, not too deep. What I didn't like was that staff members would walk around the villa grounds at any time of day without prior notice. You'd be lying on a sun lounger, and strangers would just be milling about. There's no privacy. Beach towels are extra (paid). Otherwise, any issues were resolved quickly. And I didn't like that on the day of check-out, they came for us at 11:20 AM, even though check-out is at 12 PM.

We booked a villa, it was clean, the staff were excellent, everything was superb.

Although it's a bit far from the city center, the pool, the beach, and the well-maintained landscaping were all great. However, if you leave anything sweet indoors, ants will appear in swarms, so you absolutely must put everything in the fridge. On the last day, a cockroach appeared in the living room. ㅠㅠ

Excellent hotel with the most beautiful beach in Nha Trang and Cam Ranh. Room cleaning was consistently done every 2 days. All amenities were good.

This resort located within Wyndham Gardens operates under several names. I stayed at a resort under a different name (not Mystery) a few months ago and came back here because the value for money was so good. However, unlike the same villa under the other name, the overall cleanliness of this villa was the absolute worst! There were countless ants crawling in lines, and even though I requested pest control, all they did was sweep with a broom. And even then, they only came once out of all the requests 😤 It seemed like they had built nests in the tile grout and furniture ㅠㅠ Also, although I didn't see any myself, my husband told me later that there were even cockroaches, saying he hadn't mentioned them before because he thought I would be disgusted… 😖😖😖 The reason I chose this place, which is the same villa under a different name, was for the late check-out until 2 PM. I inquired several times and even sent emails asking if it was possible in advance, but I received no reply. The answer I finally managed to get through Trip.com was that we would know on the day of check-in. So when I asked at check-in, they demanded an additional 2.5 million VND and said they would move me to a different room on the day of check-out. I figured it must be inefficient for the villa too, but I figured it couldn't be helped since checking out to another hotel and checking in again would save time in between, so I agreed and paid. However, on the day of check-out, I asked, "What time are we moving rooms?" and received a reply that we could use the room until 7 PM. So I asked, "So, are we supposed to move at 7 PM, stay in a different room until 9 PM, and then leave?" They said I would have to pay extra for that. When I told them I had already paid when I checked out, things got a bit awkward for a moment. (I think it was probably possible to stay until 7 PM for free 😤) Only then did they seem to think, "Oh, you already paid, right?" and said, "Then just stay in this room until 9 PM." I was packing with a nagging feeling that this wasn't right, and having heard stories about ants and cockroaches, I usually prefer to rest a bit before heading out on night flights. However, after looking into spas for luggage storage, I just checked out around 5 pm, paying the late checkout fee. They didn't come even when I requested ant extermination, and when I mentioned there were no napkins, they just handed me a tiny tissue. They didn't even collect the used towels when I asked for a replacement. I figured arguing with them wouldn't help, so I just left. The cleaning and bugs were terrible, and the tableware was the same even though I didn't use it. I was a fool to think it was a relief that there were no cockroaches on the provided sponges.😤 It was good value for money, but if I were to go again, I think I would book a villa with a different name.

My husband and I weren't very happy; we stayed three nights. On the positive side: the pool at the villa is excellent and clean, the breakfasts are good, and there's a huge selection. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with lots of trees and flowers. They resolve any issues quickly. Now for the disappointing part: At first, we were put in a villa that smelled terribly. An hour later, they moved us to the next one. It seemed odorless and everything was fine, but over time, it turned out that there was a bad smell there too, and the sofa smelled terribly when you sat on it. I was surprised that they only give a 330ml bottle of water every two days, and that beach/pool towels aren't included; you have to pay 50,000 dong for one each time. The beach itself is dirty, covered in fine, crushed trash, and lots of small plastic. A tractor goes by every day to smooth the sand, but doesn't clean up the trash. There are only 10 sun loungers on the beach, and they're old. It turns out that this is a large Wyndham hotel, but Mystery Villas rents some villas from it and re-rents them, so pool towel service isn't included, yet the prices aren't cheaper. Also interesting is that at the restaurant you pay an extra 13% (5% service charge and 8% tax) on top of the price.
