This is a wonderful beach hotel. The beach is superb, and the sea is crystal clear, though by evening there's a low tide and waves. Mornings before 10 AM are incredibly beautiful, but after that, it gets quite hot, so you'll need to seek shade. The beachfront pool is very warm, not refreshing at all – it felt like 32 degrees Celsius! 😃
We opted for breakfast and dinner, and there was always something to feed the kids. They offer European, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cuisine. Everything was delicious; no one will go hungry. Breakfasts were a bit repetitive though, and by the seventh day, we were quite tired of them.
The villas were clean, and the bed linen was pristine white. The kitchen in the villa only had a kettle, a tea station, and wine glasses. There was no dinner knife, no dish sponges, or kitchen towel. We ordered room service, and everything was delivered within 20-30 minutes.
During the day, we took tuk-tuks to the beach, but in the mornings and evenings, we walked. It's about a 5-6 minute leisurely stroll to the beach from our two-bedroom garden-view villa. The private pool at the villa was fantastic and a lifesaver in the summer heat. The mango smoothies at the Cape Neo beach restaurant were delicious, as was the coconut water.
Housekeeping came at various times, and since there were no 'do not disturb' signs, they once came during the kids' afternoon nap. You can exchange money at reception, which is very convenient. Overall, we had a positive experience at the hotel and didn't want to leave. We'll definitely return and recommend this hotel to friends and family.
