Zafiro Palmanova

Full of noisy kids. Running up and down the corridors screaming. The restaurant is like a noisy cafeteria. Again - noisy kids. Everywhere is nicely presented. Sunbeds very close together. Rooms are spacious. Shower is good. Toiletries - poor selection. Just shower gel and shampoo and soap. Bathroom towels were very poor - rotten and many frayed and with holes in. Not what I expect at a good quality hotel. Pool towels good. The breakfasts were excellent. A lot of choice of fresh fruits and cooked foods. Something for everyone. I certainly enjoyed the poached eggs, smoked salmon and fresh fruits. Reception told us breakfast opened at 715 but it didn’t open until 730. This is too late for early morning people. There is no coffee machine in the room. We were playing tennis at 8am - it was too much of a rush. The TV was poor - “snowy” poor reception and very limited English channels. Kitchenette was well-equipped Balcony was overlooking the car park and bins. Very noisy early mornings with bin collections and beer deliveries. No cleaning service in rooms on Wednesday or Sunday Receptionists all lovely and helpful. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, but we were telephoned as soon as it was. The Spa massage prices are very expensive €100 for an hour. Tip - if you need a taxi back to the airport, book it in advance - we couldn’t get one and had to take an uber which was double the cost. The receptionist also tried for us by phone and online and got no response. Only a 7 minute walk to the beach and a nice resort. Umbrellas were available for guests’ use - situated by the front door to help yourself. Bicycle hire was available at €6 per day. Would I stay here again? I would visit for the tennis holiday but would not stay at this hotel. I need an adults-only hotel which is quieter. I did not get sufficiently good sleep quality due to noisy neighbouring rooms and early deliveries.

Absolutely great great hotel spacious rooms. Friendly staff reception great. Hotel is clean. Pools are great the big sun loungersnare free to use. Loads of kids pool area. Good location. Supermarket next to the shop is very expensive that's the only negative, spar down the road half the price. Food in the hotel is good . Hotel wristband is unique and allows you to access your room, pay in the bars and the shop. Great hotel

Fantastic stay here, we had a 2 bedroom suite on self catering, the hotel is in an excellent position only a few mins walk from shops, restaurants and the beach. The kids pool and one of the other pools was heated so wasn’t freezing cold like the others my son stayed in them for hours playing. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms had the comfiest beds I’ve slept in at a hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful and always plenty of them around if you needed any help. The cleaning ladies are fantastic and coming to clean the room later in the day if you didn’t want it done in the morning.WIFI was amazing! A very relaxing holiday and the best hotel we’ve stayed in for a long time. Will definitely be back.

This holiday was absolutely incredible! The hotel far exceeded our expectations. The room was huge and very clean. Loads of space for all your clothes in a build in fully mirrored wardrobe. And we had the most basic of the rooms. The bathroom was huge! And the towels were very soft. Our view was out over some palm trees and to another hotel. The sun got to our balcony in the evening but we weren’t really home much anyway. They have loads of pools and many of them heated which was great for being there in April. The weather was lovely the whole time we were away so very lucky but still the heated pool made it much more comfortable. The staff were all lovely and helpful. They would all say good morning or hello to you every time you passed. We didn’t do all inclusive so we just bought some cereal and coffee and fruit to have our breakfast in the room which had a great wee set up for it. The coffee machine was a bit dated but it worked just fine! The evening entertainment was wonderful the kids were well looked after. We didn’t try the daytime kids club. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach if that, perfect location for us. And all of the amenities you would expect very close by. Nice shops to look around. Good places to eat. I couldn’t fault it at all. We will all be going back soon. We loved it. Thank you so much Zafiro!

We had a fabulous time at this amazing hotel, and when we arrived we found that we had been upgraded to a swim up room with a huge terrace which was just amazing. There were 6 swimming areas including a heated indoor and out door pool and splash areas just great for kids.It could be quite noisy in the corridors at night but it didn’t bother us too much. We were self catering so can’t comment on the food. The location was great near shops and beaches, and was only 40 euros in a taxi for 4 of us to and from the airport. The reception staff were very helpful and provided pool towels, and a courtesy room for a shower if need before you returned. We would never have been able to afford the upgraded room we were in but if you could afford it would definitely recommend it, or at least pay for a room overlooking the swimming pool .

Just returned from 5 nights stay at ZafiroPalmanover hotel, our son & family were there for 10 nights with grandchildren. What a fabulous family friendly hotel, wonderful food, spotless clean, brilliant rooms & great pool area for children with slides, The staff are so friendly, helpful & welcoming, a Soecial mention to Elicio Barajas, our waiter in restaurant, who went above & beyond to be so helpful, always smiling & very friendly, would definitely recommend & return to this hotel

My family had a wonderful holiday here, great location, hotel is amazing, fresh and has a nice atmosphere. We booked a one bedroom family room. My 2 children (9&12) had the sofa bed which splits in two, so they didn't have to share a bed and the main bed was spacious and comfy. Air con was available in the rooms, just remember to close the patio doors😉. There was lots of choice at meal times, no complaints and branded drinks . The wristbands where a great idea to order food, drinks and access your room. Three pools, one is heated which is good in the mornings. There is a nice playground, it could just do with a bit more shade. Lovely staff, very helpful and the hotel is very clean and of a high standard. Would recommend, definitely booking with Zafiro again...

We stayed for 5 nights in May half term, family of 4 with 2 children 7 and 11. Welcome at the hotel was good and the rooms were very nice (pool view suite on reception level). Nice beds and sofa bed with facilities and a huge wetroom bathroom. Lifeguards very attentive and polite aswell as majority of staff who were very good. No sunbed wars as pool opens at 10 and majority closed off until 945ish, could always get beds. The pools were very good and children loved the slides and park. Buffet I would say was OK but not great for a 4 star, repetitive and some of the variety of food and quality not as other 4 and 5 stars but still OK. The ala carte was extremely poor. Located next to buffet restaraunt outside in a small area, food took a very long time and I would say the buffet food was alot better anyway. Some of the childrens staff were not very animated at times, also activities etc wernt made clear alot of the time, seemed to be very lowkey compared to other resorts. Drinks were a bit of a let down, some basic cocktails like Aperol Spritz were not nice and some staff did not know how to make them properly. Cocktails were alot better at similar resorts. Table service at entertainment time was sparse and infrequent, queues and bar service were therefore slow if you had to go up yourself. Entertainment was good on some nights, but some nights the sound system wasnt working properly which impacted the performers. My wife also fell by one of the pools due to unlevel ground, we saw numerous other people falling at the same spot by the auiet pool, hotel needs to address this. Overall a good stay but we feel for a four star there is room for alot of improvement across the board.

Once again another amazing holiday at Zafiro . Was so good the first time we went back again and was not disappointed. Very warm welcome from all the staff . Food is great with such a selection of choice which helped, as having a 6 and 8 year old it gave them many choices. Chocolate fountain and sweets being there favourite😂. Went over with family as told them how good it was the first time and they also loved it👍🏻. Thanks for making our holiday great and will be back again soon. Thanks Chris
