Calgary Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel

Staying here, a taxi to downtown was about $35 CAD, which is acceptable. We attended the Calgary Stampede two days in a row and it was very convenient to take an Uber back and forth after eating at restaurants in the city center.

This hotel is convenient for transfers, with spacious and comfortable rooms and quality bedding. Despite being right next to the runway, the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk service is professional and efficient, and the indoor pool and gym facilities are well-maintained, perfect for relaxing after a long flight. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the restaurant consistently delivers good food. For business travelers or families prioritizing efficiency, you'll be hard-pressed to find any faults here. Highly recommended.

The Wi-Fi was unusable; it required authentication through a Marriott website that had an expired security certificate. The front desk service was slow and arrogant. Breakfast service was terrible and dragged on, almost making us miss our flight. Overall, it was a very bad experience, feeling like a case of 'the bigger the brand, the worse the service!'
