The Australian Hostel

I’m currently in the lobby of the hotel and I want to share with you what happened to me. They gave away my reserved room to someone else and their only option offered is a refund. I refuse to accept this disregard for customer satisfaction and I will not settle for it. I believe that this kind of service attitude needs to be brought to the attention of the public. Steps need to be taken to solve the issue to prevent other customers from being victims like myself.

Amazing place. Keroles was amazing to host me at the place. They even help me have my luggage stay so I can travel to Luxor and Aswan . Their breakfast is great and they can help you exchange currency, guiding for other bookings. Internet can improve a bit but it's downtown. Worth for the price we pay.

Best Hotel Location and Staff in All My Travels! I can’t tell you one bad thing about this hotel. Centrally located in downtown next to everything. I had a beautiful private bedroom with balcony and shower and was completely surprised how modern it was. But, the best surprise wasn’t the services they offered, the staff is absolutely perfect. They are always social and welcoming and I worked with Keroles up front from the day I checked in to even making a good friend. Anything you need, they never give you an excuse, they give you their full attention and fix it like family. Keroles helped me plan my tours through them and they are much cheaper than competition. Any issues or concerns I had, he guided me and replied to my texts within seconds. I even had managers call me later for an update and I just felt they were by my side if anything could go wrong. Even though they were fully booked, I am visiting during low season so I didn’t meet too many visitors, but Keroles and the others were always around to talk to you, enjoy your company, offer you drinks and really get to know you. I met the entire staff on a day to day basis and we sat down and just talked like I was part of the family. The apartment was incredible but what made my experience even better was that they always knew your name and always welcomed a good chat with you when you just wanted to relax and talk. 5 star service. If I ever had an emergency or need, don’t expect them to say they can’t help because they truly made sure I was always relaxed and taken care of. I would take this place over a resort any day of the week. Thanks Keroles for all your hard work and saving me a lot on money on my tours. See you guys on my way back!

Certainly our great time in Cairo is because of Hescham, one of the hostel’s collaborators. He was very attentive to us and he was always avaliable to help. He planned the whole trip and gave us the best tips about Cairo. I definitely recommend Australian Hostel.

The staff here are great and the hostel is nice and clean. The location puts you in the heart of Cairo. They are improving there amenities all the time and they really care about your stay and friendly to chat with.

We had a very nice time there. The guys in Reception were very nice and helped us with many things, specially Hesham, who gave us super useful information and make everything easy for us. I completely recommend this place

Absolutely incredible, the experience in Cairo and Egypt was made better by the Australian hostel and help from the very friendly, welcoming young man named Hesham. He took the time to recommend the most amazing trips and help me out with getting to know the city. The river Nile, pyramids tour and desert safari are life changing moments ! And these couldn’t have been done without the hostel helping. So many opportunities to create videos and take photos of the city and general life out there. The hostel is located in the heart of the city. It offers a great selection of rooms and the chance to meet other travelers!!! Don’t waste your time on any other place. This hostel is the best in town !!! Thanks to all the staff there 👍🏻🐫
