We were late arriving, which I had notified the property of. When checking in the guy at the desk was not the Aussie welcome I’d expected. He was short and dismissive. We left quite early the next morning and the same person ‘Russell’ was on reception and showed little regard or gratitude for our stay. It felt as though we were an inconvenience to him us being there. The room itself was pleasant.

Not a bad for the price. Front desk staff were exceptional. Not walking distance to Cairns restaurants and esplanade but a good place to sleep comfortably. Has a bath which is a great plus👍

Everything else is OK, but the hot water bottle contains leftover water from previous customers, which is a penalty.

It was the best shower ever! Best value for money. The food was great, and the service was great. It is very inexpensive and bursting with value for money. Rooms are big, very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here. Heaps of parking and 24 hour reception.

Old, tired, dirty. Mould in bathroom, air vents disgusting, grounds scattered in rubbish (including brown paper bags of empty booze and their very own homeless person). Staff rude (unsatisfied with my room but was told if I want a balcony I would have to upgrade to delux suite - hotel looks half empty #no lights on in rooms). Woke up at 11pm to drilling/construction on my floor. Night manager has no idea what it is. Didn’t book direct so staff were unwilling to accommodate any requests to resolve my concerns…

Had a really nice stay at hotel. It was perfectly located to where I was working and plenty of car parking spaces. Staff sorted out my check in fast and efficiently and were very friendly. Room was clean, very spacious and bed was comfy and had a great sleep.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in in Cairns and care factor of zero from reception staff Sink tap not working Plug stuck in the sink so cannot use sink Tap in shower broken and falls off every time it's turned Ants everywhere counters sink bed No housekeeping in 5 days floors are filthy No towels , no bins emptied Beds are rubbish may as well sleep on springs only While place is filthy ceilings curtains walls Do yourself a favour and stay anywhere else

Stayed 1 night owing to its location to rental car pound and airport. Dropped car off at rentals, walked back to the hotel. Our room was ready, even though we were early, no problem, very welcoming receptionist. Room had everything we needed - but it overlooked the main Highway. We ate in restaurant that night, perfectly adequate, very helpful waiting staff. Asked hotel to arrange taxi for a 4.30 pick up. Taxi arrived on time and dropped us off at the airport. Everything went well, apart from the noise. The road is very busy till late and internally someone near to our room was having shower/bath late at night and the plumbing seemed to go right through our room.

We recently stayed at the Cairns Sheridan Hotel for seven nights and We must say, it was an amazing experience. the hotel itself is nice and clean, with comfortable atmosphere. The location is good with a lot of busses along Sheridan street and Uber-Taxi will come to pick you up in front of the Hotel. But what truly made our stay exceptional were the staff members, Leanne and Sebastian. Their friendly and helpful demeanor made us feel at home and ensured that we had a comfortable stay. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and their attention to detail was exceptional. We highly recommended the Cairns Sheridan Hotel, not just for its lovely accommodations but also for the fantastic staff, especially Leanne and Sebastian. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!

We spent the night there before an early morning flight back to the US. Overall all was very good. The young man at the front desk was great and helped us with our luggage. Room 507 was spotless- though it could have used a comfortable chair. No coffee and tea supplies in the room. Restaurant was decent with excellent service. Our cab showed up at the appointed time of 3:50 for the speedy trip to the airport. There was a fair amount of street noise- yelling, etc during the night. I’d stay again on my way in or out of Cairns!

This was a very well priced and clean hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly especially Sebastian the Evening manager and the girls in the restaurant and bar. The buffet breakfast was also very nice. Will stay again.

We stayed for 5 nights and paid for breakfast with our package. On the first morning there was no breakfast available, only told bluntly “kitchen issue “. On the second and third morning cold breakfast only. On the 4th and 5th morning, there was hot breakfast but very very basic. Not even scrambled eggs. No discount or refund offered. Most staff very friendly, one in particular was very unfriendly.

2/5. The AirCon is inefficient. The sheets are far from soft. There was rubbish left in the fridge and the restaurant food is basic! Hotels should not photoshop pictures. Show us what areas are really like…. Specifically the pool area………..
