The Occidental Cadiz hotel part of the Barcelo Hotel Group and formerly the Barcelo Cadiz is located on Avenida Andalucia close to the Conference Centre and within easy reach of all the main tourist attractions in the city while being just a few moments away from the main city beach. The hotel is located on the main road in the center of Cadiz. It is about 5-6 minutes drive from Cadiz Cathedral and the old town. There are many parking spaces around the hotel. The room is large and comfortable, with a good bed and a good shower.

Todo muy bien, un buen hotel donde los halla, pero con solo fallo: Al menos, en nuestra habitación. Por tres veces informamos en recepción, va que la TV no funcionaba bien, cuando no eran los canales, era el volumen, un total fiasco. En los 5 días que estuvimos, no vimos TV alguna Increíble, pero verdad real.

This hotel is not near to any of the nice parts of Cadiz. It is not comparable to other Barcelo’s we have stayed in aside from the room decor. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as it is budget style but not budget price. The breakfast area is akin to a canteen.

This was a great find in Cadiz. All the staff were really helpful, made a special effort with everything we asked for. Great value for money , the locals use the bar and Restaurant , very close to the Beach. 3.50 Euro cab ride to shops. ( we are lazy ) What more could you want ! Value for money. Loved it.
