Nice clean hotel with comfortable beds.

The hotel was lovely and clean and the room was just what we needed after a long day of travelling. It would have been nicer if we had a bath In the room but that is just personal preference. It was clean and tidy and we had tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We were only a twenty minute walk from town a perfect distance to walk into town and walk back safely the route is well lit and pretty straight forward. The breakfast was fantastic and it is served overlooking the bay so a lovely morning view. The breakfast was buffet and we had multiple trips up and down to enjoy all the food. Our favourite was the pancake machine with the strawberry jam it was delicious.

I had a lovely stay here. The room was very clean and a nice size, plenty of space for one or a couple would be fine too. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was the usual basic hotel breakfast but satisfied me just fine. The location is perfect, so close to Cardiff Bay which is where I wanted to be, but tucked away and quiet. There was no noise from anywhere, so a very restful sleep. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Nice hotel and good location. Coffee machine broken at the time we were there, hopefully that it would get fixed. Rooms clean and good size.

Fantastic hotel by the old docks of Cardiff, close to the Train station and the city center, but also close to Cardiff bay, which is a lovely place for a walk. The Hotel overall was very good, good rooms and a very good breakfast selection for the budget traveler.

Rooms are not generally clean. The first room we were given was very smelly. Asked staff to change it and was promptly given other room. Booked for kids and there was a sofa bed but no beddings which I had to request them later. AC does not work and it is very hot. Below average stay.

Hotel is not cleaner properly . Staff not friendly, not happy!

I requested for cancellation because my friend got covid but it was rejected So i was forced to travel alone. This hotel is very clean and the bed is comfortable. Staffs are friendly and they granted my late checkout request. Location wise, it’s far from the city center, about 20minutes walk. You cannot rely in their wifi as it is NOT stable. You can hear the noise outside of the room when there are some kids running and screaming. Breakfast is just so so, not much choices and it will repeat the next day.

Great location, comfortable rooms and accomodating staff. Reception: The ladies at reception are very nice and welcoming. Room / facilities: Room number 311 is on the 3rd floor and is clean with a water view. The 2 single beds are jointed to make a king bed, clothes hanging area, bathroom, chair and desk, with tea and coffee facilities. There is no fridge in the room, but reception will keep a small amount of items in the hotel fridge. Self control air conditioning with a window that opens about 5 cm. Parking: Is shared between the Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge hotels. Parking is £10 per night, car registration must be provided. If the parking area is full, there is street parking which is payable between 8:00am and 6:00pm. Refunds are offered if parking is unavailable upon return to the hotel. Wifi: Complementary and good speed. No validation or password required. The buffet breakfast is from 7.00am to 11.00am and consists of cereals, yogurt, breads ( to toast) jams and spreads, fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, bacon, baked beans, sausages, juices, tea and coffee. Conclusion: Great location, great staff especially Sabina, comfortable bed. Location / Nearby: Cardiff bay Waterfront is a 10 minute walk, Cardiff City is a 15 min walk. Both walks are on flat ground and easy to do.
