There is a 24-hour convenience store near the station, and the location is great. However, be careful as the parking lot is small. The lobby is small and there is a chair fight. I checked in from 14:00 (it is possible if I pay an additional fee), but it was still a little crowded and there was a chair fight. Check-in was given priority, so the check-in time was about 5 minutes. If you don't like the small rooms, you shouldn't come. (The Japanese suite is relatively large because it has two bedrooms) The view is not good. There is air conditioner, but it is fixed to 24 ℃ in winter and is hot. The food was delicious and there were so many, but it was good (however, the breakfast the next day I ate soba at night was hell) However, from 15:00, it is difficult to make a reservation for meals from 17:30. Because it is difficult, Check in from 14:00 will be easier to take. The hot spring was the best. There are three private baths, but the place called ”Iwanoyu” is crowded, and depending on luck on the day you check in (relatively vacant during dinner) ”Iwanoyu” is vacant early in the morning of the next day (around 4:00 to 6:00). In addition, there are ice candy (free) (evening and night) and Yakult (free) (early morning to morning) at the bathing area, and you can eat ”night soba” for free from 23:00. The service was substantial. The room had a coffee mill and coffee beans and I was able to enjoy authentic coffee. The customer service was also good. It happened to be good, but the people in the lobby and the people in the restaurant were good with a clear voice. (There seems to be no other customer service)

There is a slope in front of you and the best location. This time, I used a plan with a ski lift ticket, so it was very good value. The room was a long time ago, but there is no problem because it only sleeps after skiing. The gondola from Naeba Ski Resort to the next Kagura Ski Resort was wonderful. However, it was difficult to have a balanced meal because it was an accommodation plan without meals. Since it was a weekday, there were many restaurants on holidays, and I felt that every restaurant was generally more valuable than the quality. There are two large communal baths, but one of the men's baths was under repair and could not be used, and the only underground large communal bath that was available was incredibly far away. Also, it was dark and lacking in cleanliness, probably because it wasn't cleaned very well, so I didn't want to enter twice. I think it would be difficult to stay unless it was for skiing purposes.

Seeing that it’s approaching the snow season soon, so here it comes a very belated review! Stayed here with my family at the start of the year, and we had a fabulous time here! The hotel is very close to the Echigo Yuzawa Station, but shuttle bus is still available (remember to notify them about your arrival time). There was a staff who was really good at English and has helped us a lot, love that we could choose our own yukata! Our room was really spacious and the view was just AMAZING. Our plan came with breakfast (buffet) and traditional Japanese dinner, and they were perfect! Do remember to check out their onsens as there are a lot of options, you may need a whole day just to try out all of them. They also provide ski/ snowboarding rentals as well, but we booked ours at somewhere else and they still let us to put our gears overnight so that we can go straight to the ski resort directly the next morning. Been wanting to visit Hotel Futaba again this year, but seems it has gotten quite full already, so better plan your trip ahead! とても嬉しかったね~ ありがとう!

About five minutes walk from the station, there is a car transfer, welcome drink is matcha, after check-in, leave your shoes and always slippers. I stayed in a Japanese style room, with a bed in a Japanese room, white based, Bright room with cleanliness The hot springs are not so large, but there is an open-air bath The meal is a restaurant, each group, made like a half-private room, and the face of other groups is not visible. The number of dishes Many, but the volume was about that, just good The restaurant has a courtyard and a pond where the cherry blossoms swim. It was quite a number, and it was amazing. In the lounge, after the evening breakfast, there was a coffee service (self service) The employees were all kind and nice. All the employees were kind and pleasant.

Location is excellent, about 1 minutes walk to the train station, or to the main street, both of which have lots of restaurants. The staff are very helpful, although only 1 lady could speak reasonable English. The rooms are very spacious, and comfortable, although the bathroom is on the old side. Those who used the onsen really loved it, although you have to pay an onsen tax, even if you don't use it. Breakfast is on the expensive side, and even little kids have to pay. However, free coffee/tea and soup are provided in the lounge area. There are lot of lockers, but only 2 washers/dryers. The dryer function is not effective, even after 60 mins of drying, so I ended up hanging the clothes in the room to dry instead.

I went to go to the Gala Yuzawa ski resort next door. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus, just call them, and they drop off or pick up, including other nearby areas. Nice breakfast in a stunning Japanese style room, western style available. There is a wonderful natural thermal hot springs in the hotel, free of charge. Great after a day of skiing. The room was very spacious, traditional Japanese style, everything worked great. The staff were all very friendly, and spoke some English, with the help of an electronic pocket translator. I wanted a late check out, and they charged me around $15 an hour, which was well worth it, as I was able to use the hot springs and take a shower after skiing, before a 5 pm train back to Tokyo, 70 minutes away by bullet train. The hotel also has a 24 hour nice museum about the history, no charge, and lots of other things to do: a library, a piano to play, nightly movies shown, board games, etc. This was one of my favorite stays in all of the world.

GGuest UserI have been to Yuzawa on snowboard for about 15 years and there is a regular inn, but I have a gate in front of the station and stayed with my family because I wanted to stay at a large inn. It's old, but it was more normal than I expected. The uncle at the front desk on the first day was very kind (o ^^ o) Amazake is also free and very delicious! The room was a large room for 3 people! Amenity is minimal and yukata is normal. There is a humidifier in the room. The large communal bath is on the first and third floors, and my husband liked it because he wanted to enter the sauna. Breakfast is not a buffet, but it is delicious with a lot of side dishes such as hot tofu and rice in the pot. I went there for dinner because there are famous shops around the station. I thought it would be nice if I went by private car not in front of the station. The sound of the Shinkansen, the sound of snow removal around, and the people on the road are surprisingly noisy and can be heard quite a bit. And although it was said that it was a three-day holiday, it was said that Wi-Fi was not connected because Yuzawa itself was crowded. Too vulnerable. .. ( -`) But overall it was a good hotel.
Visited hotel in Autumn Nov 23. Stayed 1 night. Room: Spacious, with 1 shower room, 1 dressing area with sink, 1 toilet room with another large sink, bedroom has a sitting area, full sized wardrobe, and 2 twin beds. The room was quiet throughout the night and we had a comfortable stay. One minor comment is that the mattresses on the bed felt old as they sagged in the middle, leaving you without back support. I slept well nevertheless Onsen: Not sure if spring water was used, but the onsen areas were large, with not just an indoor onsen but also an outdoor one, and jacuzzis in 2 forms (sitting and lying down). Very relaxing after a long drive. Breakfast: Quite a good spread with Japanese options, western options, and fruit, yoghurt w compote and juice / coffee/ tea stations. All in this was value for money for the price we paid
GGuest UserUsed for the first ski trip in my life. About 20 minutes by shuttle bus from Echigo Yuzawa Station. 80% of the customers are Taiwanese, 10% Southeast Asia, and the remaining 10% Japanese. Although there were many foreigners, there were few English and Chinese notation in the hotel. I felt that various operations would go smoothly if I could put more effort into dealing with foreigners. The front desk staff had many newcomers and felt unfamiliar. However, the attitude of responding hard was good. The room is a Japanese-style room and you lay out your own futon. I didn't clean the room during the consecutive nights. Towels will be changed if you go to the front desk. When I made a reservation with a plan without meals, I was informed that I couldn't make a reservation because it was full when I tried to make a restaurant reservation after check-in. There was no place to eat nearby, so I negotiated and was able to get somehow to eat in the latest time. I should have made a plan with meals in advance so that I wouldn't become a meal refugee. There were many types of dinner buffets, and I enjoyed it without getting tired. The Nakazato Wood Ski Resort in front of the hotel is gentle and perfect for first-time skiers. However, Japanese ski lessons are not available on weekdays, and English and Chinese are already full of reservations, so it is better to make a reservation in advance. Since I am almost a beginner, I was playing in the snow below, and especially in the morning, there were few people in the ski resort and it was reserved. If it gets a little better, you can walk to the Yuzawa Nakazato Ski Resort next to it.
CCk ARoom was wonderful, well maintained. Though, I could tell is dated n old school. Just like how we like it. Nice view from the room could see snow falling. Wonderful owner. Great breakfast and dinner. Have to booked dinner in advance. Really nice Japanese home cook meal. Owner fetch us from train station. We rent all our Skiing stuff from owner, who r really helpful. Free transport 2 way to mountain for skiing. In-house Separated male n female hot spring. Love the outdoor hot spring, my first time experience having snowflakes on my face.
CCENGMAIThe area is not small. There is a free minibus shuttle to the train station. Living on the 4th floor, eating on the 4th floor, soaking on the 4th floor, so comfortable. The scenery is good. The town has everything, eating and shopping, and free foot baths in front of the train station. Behind the hotel is the entrance to the GALA ski resort
LLeeHotel is conveniently located just beside Yuzawa Kogen Ropeway. The Japanese style room feels a little dated but is clean and spacious , good for 6 persons. Futon was great but pillows a little too hard for my liking. Hotel has a small but nice onsen with outdoor bath. Service staff was great throughout my stay. There is a free shuttle service between hotel and the JR station. Call hotel to dispatch shuttle when reach JR station.
EEscape810051It is near Echigo Yuzawa Station. It is located on the side of the line of the Shinkansen and Joetsu line, and it is not a high platform, so it is not an inn to enjoy the scenery. Enter the entrance and turn left and reach the front desk. It feels like a business hotel rather than an inn. Because of the corona countermeasure, the counter at the front desk does not carry out any procedure, and it is done on the sofa. You can pass the pen and describe the inn book, but the pen is not used. There is also a lounge, but it was not open. It was a room Japanese room 10 tatami mats, but there were also 6 tatami mats like the next room, and I felt wide. The bath is on the opposite side of the front desk on the first floor. There is a slightly wet inner bath 1 and a hot open-air bath, and the Joetsu Shinkansen downhill can be seen 々. The towel is very thick, and it is not possible to use it as a hand towel, and I think it is better to bring a body towel in the room. The meal is a dining room on the second floor. It was designated as 19:30. There are waiters and waitresses, but most of them seem to be in training, and the timing of bringing food is slow, and if you don't urge again, you won't fire a pot or a pot. There was no Nakai in wafuku, and it was like a business hotel with Japanese rooms and hot springs. There were few rooms, and the bath was not crowded, and I was able to relax without worrying.
GGuest UserClose to Echigo-Yuzawa Station, the location is almost perfect. The staff were very friendly and the service was very friendly. Although the price is a little expensive for traveling alone, it is a good value for money if you come with a family trip or several people. Thanks to you, I have a happy trip. Thank you ^ _ ^ ♡
