Palatium Haeundae by SONO Felice

Haha, because the hotel we switched to for the latter half of our trip was so terrible, I actually came back here! I managed to snag the only available sea-view room at the last minute. The hotel is really close to the beach, by the way. The front desk staff were quite surprised to see us, considering we had just checked out that morning. I still love it here, and this time I even got to see the sunset, which was an added bonus!

The room was spacious and very new, and the bathroom and everything else were good. The shower water pressure was fine. It's very close to the beach, and not too far to walk to Mipo Station for the capsule train. Because the room was so new, there was a slight smell when we first entered, but opening the window to air it out for a while helped a bit.

I specifically booked a sea-view room here for my birthday! The room was incredibly spacious! As soon as I walked in, a panoramic sea view greeted me! I woke up to the sea view every day, it was perfect for taking photos ❤️

Great location and spacious, with a separate living room and comfy bedding. The weather wasn't great, so we couldn't fully enjoy the sea view advantage. It would be even better if they installed smart curtains!

Facilities: Well-equipped, with a fridge. I could chill drinks and alcohol bought from the convenience store downstairs and enjoy them at my leisure. Hygiene: Super clean! A little tip: you need to inform the front desk in advance for room service. Environment: Downstairs is the Haeundae commercial street, with all the popular influencer spots nearby. A 5-minute walk along the commercial street takes you to the beach, and there's a snack street as well. You can just stroll and eat your way to the beach! The other end of the commercial street leads to the subway, making it super convenient to get to Seomyeon, Gwangalli, and other places. If you want to ride the capsule train, it's just a 15-minute walk along the coastline. I'll definitely book this hotel again next time!

I was very satisfied with the room; it was clean and tidy. The steam sterilizing closet was a memorable touch – it completely removed the BBQ smell from my clothes! I never imagined such a great feature. I loved it so much, I wish I could own one. However, I opened it prematurely, and the steam triggered the fire alarm, alerting the entire building. Yet, the building management didn't blame me, which I'm incredibly grateful for. I hope to keep meeting such good people during my time in Korea... The transportation is also convenient.

The overall decor is modern and new, with a high-end feel. It's within walking distance to the beach, and there's a convenience store downstairs, making travel and shopping super convenient. However, the bedroom in this room type is a bit small, and the space between the foot of the bed and the wall is too narrow, which makes it inconvenient to move around.

Facilities: Quite convenient, has a kitchen but no cooking allowed. The space is quite large, feels like an apartment. Cleanliness: Very clean and new, no strange odors. Ambiance: Good environment. Service: Excellent. Location: Great location, very close to the beach, and it's a sea-view room.
