The facilities are a bit dated, but the environment is elegant, and the service is attentive.

The rooms were clean and hygienic, and the architecture was very unique (villa-style wooden cabins). The service was warm and attentive, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious and varied!

The response was prompt, and the shuttle service was quick and enthusiastic. Thank you! The only minor issue was that the water supply cut off in the morning, but it didn't really affect my stay.

Traveling to Xinjiang at the end of June, I saw a lot of comments online about the astonishingly high prices of accommodation in Hemu. Before booking, I was a bit skeptical, thinking, 'Could a place this cheap be a scam?' However, the housekeeper called repeatedly to confirm everything and even guided me on how to transfer from the visitor center to Hemu Mountain Village. The guesthouse sent a car to pick me up, and check-in was super quick. Once I got to the room, I realized I had booked a semi-basement standard room, and I was absolutely amazed! Outside the window was an endless expanse of lush green hillsides. I could enjoy the beautiful scenery right from my bed. The owner enthusiastically introduced his guesthouse, and the service and attitude were excellent, making the check-in process very pleasant. In the evening, I went to their restaurant and tried the local hotpot recommended by the owner. It was generous in portion and delicious, so I felt compelled to write this review. I hope more travelers discover this place with its amazing environment, great prices, and tasty local hotpot.

Accommodation: Hemu Royal Garden Villa (Highly Recommended) This stay was excellent! After arriving at the scenic area shuttle bus stop, we contacted the villa, and the shuttle arrived immediately with zero waiting time. Several staff members proactively helped with our luggage; the service was responsive and highly attentive. The villa thoughtfully upgraded our room free of charge, avoiding the top floor and semi-basement, providing us with a bright and spacious standard twin room. It was clean, comfortable, and a truly pleasant stay. However, there was a small incident. On the second day, when we asked someone to collect our luggage, the driver was a bit impatient. I asked him to bring more people, and he seemed a little reluctant and rude. However, he quickly changed his mind and we eventually found a restaurant server to help us with the luggage. That was the only minor issue; everything else was great. I hope the villa can continue to improve in this area, as we have elderly relatives and children with us, which is why we had to trouble you. We hope you can understand and be tolerant.

I spent 15 days in Xinjiang, and my last stop was Hemu. I booked a semi-basement room for 2 nights at 1280 yuan per night for 2560 yuan! Such a niche place, and I, this big complainer, ended up staying there!! I don't know whether to be surprised—another life experience added to my list—or happy that I've warned everyone about bad accommodations!! Because hotel prices in Hemu are always high, I figured I'd just find a hotel that wasn't too outrageously expensive (most were over 2000 yuan), and was clean enough. Before booking, I specifically checked the reviews for "Yuyuan Mountain Villa" (P2). Despite being a semi-basement, it had many positive reviews, so I hesitantly booked it. An hour before check-in, I discovered the room rate had changed from 1280 to 722. I immediately called the platform, who claimed the hotel staff made a mistake and refused to admit it or refund the difference. I immediately rebooked twice more at the same low price… speechless… I left the issue to the platform and quickly dropped off my luggage. The room smelled damp and musty, but appeared clean on the surface. I immediately opened the window, dropped off my luggage, and went for a stroll in the old village. Here's the kicker!! When I returned to the room around midnight and changed the bedding, I discovered the blankets and pillows were covered in yellow stains—disgusting! I was shocked. For a four-figure price, how could the quality be like this? And this hotel is huge, at least five three-story buildings (four stories including the basement). Shocking, utterly shocking! Doesn't Hemu (the hotel management company) care?? (P2-6 show accommodation details) So I didn't sleep all night and immediately started looking for a place to stay, treating it like opening another blind box. It couldn't be worse than this basement, could it?! Then I got a surprise!! He Mu Shu said it was a guesthouse, and I actually opened a fantastic blind box! It was a standalone log cabin with a very stylish interior. The sink was exactly what I wanted to install when I was decorating my own home!! Plus, it was incredibly clean, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning! Look at the pictures (P8-18), it's so beautiful! Both were in the four-figure range, the basement was 1280, and the standalone log cabin was the same price. It's clear the basement owner didn't treat tourists like human beings!
